Spennymoor FA Vase

Post by willphil » Fri May 03, 2013 5:20 pm

When we were a 'big' club :D and if Pools had got anywhere in any cup we would of wanted them to get hammered, Spenny are our local rivals now so I hope they get stuffed  DTID

Nah Spenny have been a class outfit this season so as losers in the NL I hope they win something, if they did not concentrate on the Vase we might be sweating at the moment.

Poor form this lads. I've got work colleague and friends who follow Spennymoor and I'll be right behind them tomorrow. The Hartlepool comparison is tenuous.

That position I can understand.

I think Spenny are about 15 to 1 on tomorrow.

Bang on. They and their management have been a class act. Some of you planks that come on here are no better than some of the banjo wavers on NLZ. I will gladly give them my backing. You cannot just create a new rivalry. It has to be historical and deep rooted. You are looking to create something to occupy your little minds until we get back up there. Why bother? Rise above this crap

Their success doesn't impact upon our support one bit so I wish them the best of luck, we all know how much that day at Wembley means. I also hope the cherrypicker makes an unexpected knock at their door, I'd love to lock horns again next season.

I want any North Eastern team to do well against outsiders, unless they play in blue/white stripes. In that case, stuff the B***,(you get my drift)!

Actually no I don't agree, the "Big 3" bleed our support like crazy, Hartlepool don't so I can't truthfully say I want the 3 to do well, they can all fuck off for that reason. Any other little teams including Hartlepool are irrelevant

I love the rivalry with the chimps but they don't affect us, their success or lack of it is irrelevant to us, whatever level they are we'll look at them in the same light.

The big 3 suck the s*** out of our support, the more successful they are the less fans we have.

Well said. Spennymoor have my support today and to say they have replaced Pools as our rivals is a bloody joke.
I would also love to see Hartlepool have a good run in the FA Vase one day.

There's some right planks on this thread!
Good luck to Spennymoor today, despite the rivalry it's all been good natured and I hope they bring the trophy back to the north east.
In fact if they win Ill celebrate by releasing a silent boff with one of those deadly warm follow throughs! After release there's normally a 2 second waiting period and then the eye watering stench will make its appearance and hopefully linger for a good minute or so.

I suppose it's some consolation for the second best team in the league.
Well done Evenwood.

Good attendance for a vase final that, suppose with Tunbridge being so close bthat will have boosted the attendance a lot. Still cant knock the 5k from spenny that travelled, over half of what we took for the ttrophy final, and cconsidering how small spennymoor is, that's a great following
