Stockdale/Hull
I wonder if Stockdale will make a permanent move to Hull now they've been promoted?

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

I know West Ham recently showed interest in him so it will be an interesting summer for him.

It was 18% apparently. 9% to us. 9% to administrators

I asked Tori today about the transfer clauses. We did make an offer to the administrator for the other half but she doesn't know what came of it. It'll be interesting to see what happens if Stockdale gets sold.

Lets be cautious about this potential windfall. Because you can bet Raj Singh will try everything to get every penny of it.

Do you think that will stop him trying? He was very keen to get the money from these clauses when the 1883 group tried to make a deal with him!Fibonacci0112358 wrote:Darlo-Richie wrote:Lets be cautious about this potential windfall. Re: Stockdale/Hull
We 'legally' own half so I don't see how any financial windfall could be taken away.
Re: Stockdale/Hull
Did you ask/she mention whether we definitely have a transfer clause on Stockdale?Darlofan97 wrote:I asked Tori today about the transfer clauses. Whether he tries or not, it will make no difference.
He hasn't a leg to stand on, there is nothing to be cautious about at all!
Any claim for funds by a creditor of Darlington 2009 FC Ltd, is to be made to the administrator.
Re: Stockdale/Hull
We'd clear all outstanding debts - with change - with the 9% sell-on even from a £4 million deal, am I right? Would be fantastic if this goes through. Get him sold, Mr Jol!

Yeah, if the 9% does end up being correct then that would be all of the previous seasons debts cleared plus something to start the back to Darlo fund off.mikkyx wrote:We'd clear all outstanding debts - with change - with the 9% sell-on even from a £4 million deal, am I right? The 9% to the administrator will be allocated to creditors, one of whom is the lying b****** Mr Singh. He gets any cut from that, the other 9%'s is the clubs.

Re: Stockdale/Hull
heres an article in echo last july
Mr Madden said he planned to travel to London speak to Fulham FC regarding clauses in the contracts of former Quakers players Dan Burn and David Stockdale before the company was liquidated.
Darlington FC 2009 retained half the rights to the clauses, while Darlington 1883 (DFC 1883), which now owns the Quakers, owns the second half of the rights.
Commenting on the clauses, Craig Mckenna, DFC 1883 project manager, said: “It’s no secret that 1883 would benefit from any revenue that is generated from the Dan Burn and David Stockdale clauses.
“We’re obviously hopeful that Harvey’s discussions with Fulham will generate a cash boost for the football club.”

Re: Stockdale/Hull
Could be wrong but I think that it's been mentioned before, from Divas possibly, that we are entitled to a six figure fee when Dan Burn steps onto the pitch for Fulham.
Re: Stockdale/Hull
Aye, dan burn just needs to step onto the pitch for the Fulham fist team and we get a hefty lumper.
Re: Stockdale/Hull
Hopefully he will get a chance in the league cup next season! If one of these transfer clauses happens, then it will be massive for this clubs future.

Re: Stockdale/Hull
Any ideas how much we get if Dan Burn steps foot on the pitch for Fulham?
But with a reported 360k from Stockdales hopeful 4million move and the Dan Burn clause - we will be doing very well on getting funds to move back to Darlo. This along with a few grants could prove to be a great decision on buying the clubs assets in the summer.
Lets hope the club have an idea if all this goes through.

He doesn't even need to do that. Just be named in the match day squad of 18. If he then gets on the pitch we get another chunk.Darlofan97 wrote:Could be wrong but I think that it's been mentioned before, from Divas possibly, that we are entitled to a six figure fee when Dan Burn steps onto the pitch for Fulham.
Hopefully he'll play a few pre season games and impress.
From memory it's £75K for each scenario - divided by 2 now.

Any chance of putting some actual figures to the above or is that confidential between the club and Fulham?divas wrote:He doesn't even need to do that. Just be named in the match day squad of 18. Are there other clauses in his contract, such as apperances fees or national team caps? I noticed that the deal was touted as having a value of up to £2 million.
Re: Stockdale/Hull
There are other elements to the deal - blocks of appearances, a sell on and an England cap.

Re: Stockdale/Hull
Thanks, let's hope that some of these come to fruition.
Re: Stockdale/Hull
The FA will surely block any chance of an England cap if they know we are getting some money from it.
