My son just played in a rugby tournament there. Lots of land available for development. Could easily fit a football stadium alongside existing rugby set up or if amenable develop first team pitch with seating opposite the clubhouse and terracing at either end. Mind you also played at the arena yesterday and still think that financially would be the safest option all the infrastructure present and pooling of costs. Still too divisive an issue!

The last time Blackwell Meadows was discussed on here it was pointed out that the site is prone to flooding.

Sorry, but isn't this just a case of JC riding a little wave of popularity on the back of all our efforts throughout the season and tweeting things which she knows will make people sit up and pay attention to her?

I wish she'd stop teasing people like this - we should know by now to take what she says with a pinch of salt.

Why does she only appear at the end of the season? Didn't see her on a January midweek match?

I'd take back everything I've said and kneel down and lick her boots if she would climb back onto her previous hobby horse and...

It's still worth saving. Rather than houses I'd like to see a community stadium (a little one) with a 3G pitch there. It might not suit our football club but, then again, who knows what might happen. I see Maidstone just got promoted to the Isthmian Premier League - they and their 2000+ supporters could be knocking a little louder on the Conference door in the coming season.
