I got the may / might question right, the other three you've mentioned there wrong and I can't remember which other one it was that tripped me up.

7 out of 10, I'm a promising pedant.

I'm pleased to see the "I was sat" question. It annoys me when I see it written in newspapers. It's "I sat" or "I was sitting". It probably annoys me more than "would of" instead of "would have", or the there/their/they're confusion.

I must get out more.

I got 8/10 - couple near the end wrong including the one about the gerund which I actually knew but "the force" made me choose another answer.

I'm not really a grammar or spelling nazi because some people are just not so good at spelling, but my pet hate is "defiantly" seeing this word spelt wrong...

Also (chiefly Americans) using the word "moran" instead of "moron"

How is "defiantly" "spelt wrong"*?

And how do you know people aren't defiantly spelling definitely as definately?**

* The correct word to use in this context is "incorrectly", not "wrong".

** Split infinitive?
