Slight wobble in the 2nd but came through it. And still no sets dropped. 8-)

Assuming they both get there as expected, we could be on for an absolutely cracking final between Murray and Microphone Head. They're both on superb form.

Yes, but he has no personality.

And all of the good players have already been knocked out.

I was being sarcastic, his personality though admittedly a little dull, shouldn't matter.

I watched the cringeworthy interview after he won, where I'm sure the interviewer was trying to get himself knocked out, maybe just as well Murray is dull rather than feisty.

I was listening to Five Live the other night - they had Henman on for some kind of phone in.

Someone called in and asked Henman if he thought his game would be suited to playing against the current crop. He tried to make out that the only reason he wouldn't succeed in the modern game was that the style had changed - nothing to do with him not even being particularly good in his day (when the competition was far weaker).

That's a big if, bit you're right that must've taken it out of microphone head.

How he gets some of those returns back I'll never know.

Well, it's the final everyone expected although it will have to go some way to beat the Djokovic/Del Potro semi which was one of the best matches I've seen.

Hard to call the final. Novak looking more impressive but just get the feeling this is Andy's time...

After watching the semi's I am completely torn now. Murray's service game is awesome at the moment but against Djokovic who can pretty much return anything it will be tough. Should be a cracking match, different to the Del Potro game but still cracking!

I played a set of tennis against the lad earlier this year whilst on holiday. Had to sit down for ten minutes and have two fags after just three games. I was knackered. Anyone who says these players are crap is talking out of their arses.
Waiting for Raj to shaft them!

He was odds on before the match, if say he's nailed on now regardless of whether or not Froome-dog wins the tour, and England white wash the Aussies.

I would say he is far away clear favourite for SPOTY now...

Fair play to him, I did not expect it to happen, let's hope the next 77 years aren't as barren the previous 77 years

Thoroughly deserved victory. He bettered Djokovic throughout in a terrific match.

Doubtless some will say "he didn't play Nadal/Federer etc", but that's irrelevant.

And Murray will deservedly win SPOTY too.

His girlfriend will no doubt be pleased tonight. Knowing that her boyfriend will be too tired to properly 'celebrate' his Grand Slam win.
