Is there some sort of delay on the broadcast? The goal appeared on Officialdarlo twitter before it came on the broadcast!

well done on the result, best team won, the 1st goal was excellent, the second was astonishing and the third was worthy of your performance.

Cheers - Amber, and thanks to all who came down to Church Lane.

Sounds like another improved performance. Hopefully we can go on a good run now.

Thompson has stepped up another level this year. Hopefully we can hang onto him!

I thought after missing so many chances First Half that New Mills would nick one but Thompson had other ideas.

Good performance, bit narrow at times but that would be my only gripe.

Great team effort today, first game in ages I've thought we are going to win this, usual I'm thinking we look shaky and these are going to nick one and beat us, but today solid performance always looked like we where going to win, Thomson was by a country mile the best player on the pitch today, if we had two more with skill and ideas he has we would be serious title contenders, thought Scott had a decent game as well haven't said that for a while!

Did the good performance make them look poor or did the poor performance make us look good?
Waiting for Raj to shaft them!

They were generally a poor team, just lumped the ball forward and hoped for the best. I've only seen 5 games this season but the poorest team I've seen. They've conceded about 40 odd goals this season too.

Don't get me wrong we played well and I don't want to take anything away but I get the impression the games we've struggled in lately are against teams who have some decent individuals and had a bit about them.

That's strange, I saw them play at Rammy last Saturday and was impressed with their passing style on a very wet pitch.

I guess we have had an off month, so they could have had a poor day in the office

Who's not giving us credit?

Lads done well today, as Divas says the opposition after a reasonable start didn't test us greatly.

The three in midfield made us a lot more solid, thought Robinson had a very good game and pretty much everyone was decent today. New Mills are a solid mid table team so all in all a very good comfortable win, Thompson's first goal was a standad 20 yard cracker and his second one well you had to be there sadly but it was quality.

It was good to see some smiling faces in the crowd and the players after the match. Congrats to the Darlo Fans Radio lads who seem to have done an excellent job today and had well over 100 listening in I believe.

My first game in a while and a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Thompson was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch. His first goal was brilliant cutting past his man and firing into the top corner. His second was even better - outrageously good. Seemed to come out of nowhere. He just fired a shot in which flew in off the far post from quite a distance. One of the best goals I have seen for Darlo in years.
I took a mate who is a Liverpool fan and he couldn't believe how good Thompson was.
We bossed much of the game and should have scored more in the first half. White was commanding, thought Galbraith had a really good game and though Fisher took a while to get into it he showed a few touches of class and created space for himself and took his chance really well for his goal. I think Martin Gary will be vindicated in the long run.
New Mills might have had a bad day but this was quality from Darlo.

I thought they played well for the first 20 mins of the 2nd half but we dug in and they created very little.

Thompson has to be one of, if not the best player outside of the Conference.

Yes I realise that there are two leagues above and obviously some handy players in those leagues who will be better than anything that the Evo 1N has to offer, but Thompson is just that good.

He's absolutely unplayable and belongs in the Conference or League 2.
