Darlo v Curzon Ashton

Post by Sidarlo » Wed Mar 19, 2014 1:20 pm

So it's game day what does everyone think?

I think we will win, but as always in our home games an early goal is crucial.
2-1

Would like to see the crowd about 1400 but don't think it will be

Would have felt more up for it tonight if we would had won on Saturday but a win would still give us a glimmer of hope and at least take us back to 2nd.

Any update on the injuries? Scott and Hunter?

Presuming Hunters injured, i'd prefer to see Brown and White together at the back.

I know its been mentioned on here and on the NPL facebook page a lot but would be great Thommo has one of those games tonight where he tears the over team apart

This is where we can't afford to make any of those little mistakes that we make in other games, when we played Curzon away they had a solid defence, although chances were missed that game I remember.

If we wanna win this game, we WILL have to finish those 1-on-1's that we seem to struggle with. Our midfield is going to have to get alot tighter than past few previous games.

I don't think nothing needs to be said to Thommo, he already got his spurring motivation.

I'm nervous myself, but very confident.

I think we'll beat them. In the game at their place our midfield was absolutely non existent and they totally outplayed us in the middle of the park. Thompson was marked out of the game, but we still managed to create our share of chances but couldn't convert.

Our midfield is a lot more solid now compared to when we played them in October. Going by Twitter the lads seem up for this one so lets hope that shows tonight.

3-1 with a crowd of around 1300.

WIN, and we're also going to WIN the title.

I put win in capitals therefore that makes it a FACT.

Think if we score first then might win but if they score first can see it being another 1-0 to them. Would like the wind to drop as it always spoils the game at heritage park.
