early appeal

Post by tdk1 » Thu Apr 30, 2015 11:43 am

Has anyone got a spare ticket I could buy? Realise it's unlikely but still.

Happy to pay face and stick £20 into B2D for the privilege.

Am an exile who gets up when I can. Had no way of getting a ticket.

3rd in line please...

Unfortunately turned up this morning at 11.45 to find that they had none left. Gutted as I've attended every home game this season.

If you can make plans to get to BM very early doors tomorrow morning I'm sure there will be at least a hand full of unclaimed ST holders tickets on general sale. Whatever time the club says they open at, get down much, much earlier, they started selling them well before 10am this morning. I got there at 10 and a lot of people were walking out past me with their tickets before the chaos ensued.

Hope you get one mate. I welcome all potential new fans who big games like this can sway into supporting the club long term, but hate the idea of regulars missing out because of such a modest capacity restriction.

They made a list of people who couldn't get a ticket today and ringing the first people on it.

I wish this sort of information would be given out prior to tickets going on sale. I am at work all day (like many) so had no chance of getting a ticket, yet i was unaware of people being able to effectively put themselves on a reserves list.

Well hopefully the Scarborough glass chucker didn't get a ticket, he was stood in the queue as I left. Thought he had been banned?

I require 2 (or 3 if possible, greedy I know) tickets. I'm still fuming that people were allowed more than 2 per person.

Does it really matter now the tickets have been sold. We had three elderly ladies giving up their own time to distribute them they need commending not grief.

I won't be able to get to BM tomorrow morning sadly. I was very lucky I was there at that time this morning due to circumstances changing massively (with work etc).

I suppose one positive to take out of this, is the sheer amount of support we've had today. Just goes to show that there is still a significantly larger fan base to build on once we're home.

I think overall the club's done brilliantly to get it all arranged so fast, and to make arrangements for st holders.

I'm really disappointed to have missed out, but that's life when you're a club with potential support of 10,000, latent support of about 4,500, and a capacity of 2,000.

I've travelled from Shropshire for about 8 games this season, can't make many more because of work/family. Now resigned to fans radio on Saturday, but there we are. disappointment took on a new meaning at barrow, so i'm just glad there's a chance of promotion.

I do believe moving forward we should implement some sort of system that rewards our loyal supporters who attend week in week out. At least this way people wont miss out on big games to the fair weather brigade.

I saw somebody getting 4 tickets. An two adults, two concessions.

Could've been handled better but time was against the club.

Whilst I agree with the above sentiment , if we are quoting 1 ticket per season ticket holder and 2 per non season ticket holder I think we should be sticking with this. I have heard for definite that people got 3 or 4 tickets. Personally I think this is wrong and people have missed out who bothered to try and get tickets , just my opinion.

Please think how some people got more than one or two tickets,I bought seven, but I had 6 season tickets in my hand ,so was getting correct number for season tickets that I took, didn't see anyone else in front of me getting more than allowed, ladies did an amazing job given such short time frame to get everything sorted.well done to the ladies and all who helped to organize the selling of the tickets.

I finished work at 3pm picked my 9 year old son up from school then traveled up from Pontefract to get our tickets, we have only missed 5 home games in the last 2 years, checked website before we left no mention of tickets been sold out, Cant say we were overly chuffed that they had sold out when we got there just after 5pm thats 130 mile round trip on top of the 156 mile round trip on a home match, I must be mad......
