Many thanks to all those that have worked so hard to make this happen.

Gonig to be a big test off the off-field organisatin - not helped by the segregation - presumably at the turnstiles as well as in the ground.

I'm sure we will get pleas all week to get there early, but we can be sure some will turn up ar 2.55 and expect to walk straight in.

Would put money on a delayed kick-off.

I see Darlington Cricket Club are inviting Halifax fans and ours to call in there for drinks before and after the match. Most welcoming of them... but can't imagine they need the money now mind.

Can't imagine many fans would go there for a pre-match drink, it's not exactly near to the ground and the atmosphere in there will be as flat as a fart. :D

Fantastic news and well done to everyone concerned, especially all our volunteers! Well over the capacity and again proving the doubters wrong. There are a few souls who should be on here saying " I was wrong and well done everyone". They were quick enough to say it wouldn't happen and moan about everything and anything. Delighted!

They will wait till they have been to the game and start moaning about queues, the pies were cold or the lager didn't come in a crystal pint glass.

One thing for certain, there will be some atmosphere with over 3000 in the ground, even 2500 will be great, really looking forward to seeing a packed tin shed again and looking at the attendance's in the National League on Saturday we would blitz most of those with only 2 or 3 of the bigger clubs being better than ours.Just need to start winning again and cement us in the top 5 , happy days eh Mr Singh.

There is only one bigger club definitely than us and that's Stockport.

FCUM is arguable, because of course we've been playing away, and at a lower level, for most of the last 4.5 seasons so we can't really compare attendances like for like.

I meant to say the league above us, only Tranmere, Wrexham,Lincoln and to a lesser extent York will exceed our crowds, the rest in that league will probably be lower.

Well done to all those at the club to make this day happen. Cant make this one but will be there on New Years Day. Hope the crowd are the 12th Man on Monday and we can get that much needed win.

If we can average over 2,500 we'll be fourth in the national league attendance table. Would be awesome to get above Stockport's 2,863 average but could be tricky.

Anything above 2,692 on Boxing Day will see us climb to third in the average attendance tables for National North after 11 games.

So happy with the 3,229 capacity. Still a way to go to find the extra 1,771 needed for the National League mind but it feels quite doable given what 3,229 looks like!

It would be 771 needed for the national north with the potential of increasing the capacity to 5000 in the future which would be doable at Blackwell Meadows
