Gutted I can't make this game, but at least one of my lads will be able to use my 500 club ticket instead.

Re: Tickets so far
I got ticket 1675 just before 8pm.
Re: Tickets so far
My tickets don't have a stub on, is that what everyone else's is like?
Usually, when you hand the ticket over the club keep the stub and hand the ticket back. My tickets don't have this so assume I have to hand the whole ticket over? As suggested earlier in the thread, I would like to keep hold of the ticket, especially as it'll be my son's first game seeing his team play in Darlington but it would appear that we will be handing over the whole ticket.

Re: Tickets so far
Well pee,d off about the tickets with it only been 1 per person. I was wanting 3 but was going to send my mam as im working late but with it only been 1 per person its knacked it up for me so i can not go on boxing day, but only to be told they were selling more than one ticket as someone i no bought 2 adults.
Re: Tickets so far
2 per person would make sense and would also surely speed things up from a volunteer perspective - sell the tickets in half the time, less hours of volunteers needed.

Re: Tickets so far
I assume as it's all ticket, they don't need to collect stubs to keep track of the attendance. They know how many will be there minus a handful who buy a ticket but can't make it for last minute reasons.magic1 wrote:My tickets don't have a stub on, is that what everyone else's is like?

Re: Tickets so far
I got my ticket last night and must say how well organized it was, these guys are volunteers and this must not be forgotton. If any of you moaners can do better then step forward.
Re: Tickets so far
I prefer the one ticket per member, as otherwise members could potentially miss out. I would have no issue with someone taking 6 membership cards to get for their pals tho

Was a pleasure to serve everyone last night, that queue was huge when I walked in but due to the great organisation of the volunteer staff it went like clockworksada8022 wrote:I got my ticket last night and must say how well organized it was, these guys are volunteers and this must not be forgotton. Re: Tickets so far
I presume there is nothing stopping people who want more than one ticket from re-joining the back of the queue?
Re: Tickets so far
I just spoke to someone who has been for their ticket and the guys selling tickets said they only had 100 tickets left be fantastic if true

Re: Tickets so far
If true it's great news, although to be expected.
Does anyone know how many Halifax have sold? And is there a cut off date, so we can sell the remainder?

Re: Tickets so far
Someone said on twitter that they've sold 400; expected to sell another 100!
Re: Tickets so far
Good job we didn't give them anymore than we had to then. Wonder if they still think they require more than 600?!AndyPark wrote:Someone said on twitter that they've sold 400; expected to sell another 100!
Re: Tickets so far
Not sure how much you can read into a twitter expectation - it is completely unfounded ultimately. They could just as easily have demand for 20 or 300 more it's pretty impossible to tell.al_quaker wrote:Good job we didn't give them anymore than we had to then. Re: Tickets so far
It wasn't a twitter expectation, whatever one of those is.
They announced on their official website that they were only getting 600 tickets even though they knew they needed more, and had asked for more.

Re: Tickets so far
This.
And in their ignorance they announced in the article that they would be selling these tickets on the 17th, 19th & 20th, clearly expecting the tickets to be sold-out within those dates.
They made another announcement this morning stating that tickets would also be on sale today & tomorrow, with half their allocation remaining.

Re: Tickets so far
They have sold 400 and expecting to sell 100 more taken from twitter? I am not sure how twitter knows 100 more will be sold just seems a bit made up so wouldn't read too much into it.
I doubt they will sell 600 but I have no idea - 400 tickets at this point is quite good going.

Being a season ticket holder I wonder if the club could print some souvenir tickets as a momento

SOLD OUT.
Re: Tickets so far
I suppose the tickets Halifax have been unable to sell will just go to waste as there won't be any time/chance to make them available to home fans now.
