Options 3 and 4 for the home shirt are revolting...
Option 1 for me, although I actually quite like option 2.
Both away shirt choices are fine. I prefer the darker red option 2, but equally happy with 1.

Option 2 in both cases for me.
Number 3 in the home must be a bit of a joke....surprised that got signed off

Re: Pick the shirts.
I like 1 and 2 of the home options and 2 (the darker red) away shirt.
Wouldn't mind a red and white version of the 2nd home kit (with the sash across it) being our away shirt.

Option 2 for me. 3 and 4 are truly dreadful. Why we couldn't have a traditional hooped shirt like the 'orange' sponsored shirt is beyond me.

Think someone was having a laugh with options 3 and 4 on the home kit.

Re: Pick the shirts.
I was about to post on this when I saw the announcement on Facebook... Was going to suggest a quarters design as well, in line with two designs we had in the 1930s...
Without that option I'd go with the diagonal single stripe or the diagonal multiple... The stripes is too Newcastle for me...
Dont have a preference on the away shirts... Both nice

Re: Pick the shirts.
I like number 2 for both. For some reason I really want our return to an FA Cup televised game to be in a shirt containing hoops - even though number 1 is really only half a hooped kit.
I still hold out hope next season we can be the non-league team who makes the headlines...
Number 3 is horrible.

Option 2 for the home top, option 3 has to be a joke, we'd look like Newcastle!
I went for Option 1 with the away kit, but id be happy with either

Home 4; Away 2.
I don't like split effect shirt (1), or single stripe (2), but hope to god we don't go for the worst case scenario of the barcode (3). Both away options are very good, but much prefer the darker red.

Re: Pick the shirts.
Home 1 is a banal off the peg effort. At least 2 and 4 have something about them.
Re: Pick the shirts.
Number 4 reminds me of a something from the 90's when shirts looked so awful they were actually good. I like it in a perverse sort of way

Re: Pick the shirts.
#2 is the only option for me for the home shirt. Would accept either for the away shirt but opted for #1
Alun's promise to the fans: “I’ll make sure I’ll bring players in that are value for money and I want players that want to play for Darlington Football Club, want to progress and move up the league and show the fans that passion.”

Re: Pick the shirts.
One would win, but don't like there aren't hoops on the top half. Options three and four are to quite the 90's; gash! Option two therefore is the best of a very bad bunch.
I've no doubt that the quality of the shirt will be top notch when it's produced, but the designs this year are pathetic.
Either option of for the away kit. But I prefer number one. That is also the shirt I will be buying.

It would be nice to see the whole kit for each choice - back of shirt, shorts and socks

Re: Pick the shirts.
Avec don't design the backs of the shirt. They use the remaining white material from the season before and just sew it together.

Re: Pick the shirts.
4 is the Bradford template for this season. It's even worse in claret and amber.
Three looks like a cheap mans Newcastle top. The ntl one made by adidas. Which actually was really good.

I fancied yellow for the away shirt this year, something like this

Re: Pick the shirts.
I prefer it to the Newcastle strip and I dont like the mix of hoops and a thin hoop... Ive gone for 2 but if I had a second choice it would be 4. I was hoping for quarters this season...Darlogramps wrote:Seriously? Re: Pick the shirts.
I do like Avec... My two fave Darlo strips have been this season's home and the green away with white sleeves
Re: Pick the shirts.
Home 1, Away 2.
Home 4 is particularly bloody awful.
