Some very impressive lists on here. Thought I'd been to a few grounds but can't compete with the true followers! Even at Port Vale in the auto windscreens (or whatever it was) we had about 60 there. It was freezing and we were well beaten.

in the 70s/80s there were a couple of games where there was no away enclosure- Portsmouth in 1979 and Newport County (Somerton Park) a few years later - think it was the last game of the season.

We've played a couple of teams at three away grounds, Bristol Rovers, (Eastville, Twerton and the Memorial stadium), Brighton (Goldstone, Gillingham and Withdean)
You must have been on the Laselles coach to Pompey? That was one unforgettable experience!!

Blackpool (in the rain!!)
I was at the Southport game, memorable for two reasons, I got a lift from my friend on the back of his Suzuki 750. When I got off the bike in Southport I fell to the ground as my block platform shoes had melted all of over the exhaust pipes. He was not best pleased with his polished chrome covered in cheap plastic and I watched the game in my socks. As I recall we took a battering that day, I'll stand corrected but I think we lost 7-0.

I'll give my age away:

Bradford Park Avenue (when they played at BPA), and Workington Town. Both as Division Four Games.
