They've been dodging the relegation bullet for years. Dropping down to the Conference will do them a world of good.
Re: Hartlepool, Stelling, and Jones
At least the fans have not lost their sense of humour - apparently they dressed up for final away match in Darlo shirts! Must have been quite a battle of conscience for some of them. I expect the charity shops in Hartlepool will be full of Darlo shirts next week....

They were in black and white striped shirts, to represent that French mime guy, can't remember his name. Saw a few poolie fans on Skysports, they were definitely dressed in black and white stripes, didn't see any Darlo shirts on display.

Marcel Marceau. But the question remains: why?Darlo_Pete wrote:They were in black and white striped shirts, to represent that French mime guy, can't remember his name. Who knows how poolie minds work. I guess they are running out of costume ideas.biccynana wrote:Marcel Marceau. Thought that dressing up in Darlo shirts would have been too much, even for Poolie fan but even the thought of it made me laugh.Darlo_Pete wrote:Who knows how poolie minds work. They probably thought they were Darlo shirts, just haven't figured out that hoops are horizontal.

You can't knock Stelling too much, as he wore his heart on his sleeve or actually his poolie shirt on his back.
