Manchester terrorist attack

Post by Darlo_Pete » Tue May 23, 2017 8:22 am

22 people including children have been confirmed killed, including the terrorist who exploded the bomb at the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena. What sick mind goes to kill innocent people? God rest their souls.

Horrific, just kids as well. I feel so bad for the relatives, mams and dads, brothers and sisters of the victims.

The sick, deluded twat.

Ban religion.

I find it shocking that there are still some families that don't know if there relations are dead, injured or missing. I don't think banning religion would stop this. These deluded nutters just use religion as an excuse for causing all this carnage.

Harming children to strike terror into us is sick as fuck...

Some witnesses were saying on the News Ariana Grande herself probably kept the death toll down, had she not come out for an encore, more would have been in the foyer when the blast happened.

The good to come out of it was the local community rallying round to help victims, offering beds and sanctuary to survivors, taxi rides and normal people offering lifts to whereever people were going.

The bad side being IS scum were celebrating...

I personally think they should be targetted without discrimination, they dont discriminate in who they target, just find them and shoot them on site or drop nukes on them without discrimination.

Banning Religion, no point, they would find other causes to die for

But if you do it without discrimination you are not targeting islamic State 'militants' you are just attacking populations of completely innocent people who happen to reside (by choice or forced) nearby. The reason that Islamic state do it 'without discrimination' as that is their mantra. They are not targeting anyone in particular and others get caught in amongst it.

I know some folk who went to school with the attacker. Quiet, isolated and a bit strange were the description of him. Basically for me starts to fit the profile of exactly the type who is targetted and manipulated to commit such acts. Probably a controversial point of view but the attackers in these instances can be victims as well - preyed on when vulnerable.

The ones commanding and putting out the propaganda wouldn't put themselves in danger.

First and foremost we must not blame the many for the actions of the few, we must use adversity to bond communities closer together and finally the government must identify how social care/schools and community hubs can be given the necessary support to get the intelligence needed so that these plots are stopped at inception.

My gripe with this is, attackers will always be a small minority , same as when football hooligans cause bother.
But just say they attack again next month , and the month after, and the month after that - how many more times do we 'stand shoulder to shoulder with *insert city here*' or tweet #prayforcity/town/country .
Our children are being raped, and in this case murdered - there isn't a great deal more worse things they can do is there ?
I believe that some personal freedoms could/should be sacrificed in the name of national security.
If MI5 want to check internet history, then so be it - if you are a law abiding citizen you should have nothing to hide. I personally would also have a national DNA database where when you are born or come into the country , your DNA is put on record.

Completely agree but everytime there are calls to increase surveillance people get quite incensed that it is the big government trying to control us. That is is all some sort of conspiracy for the few to control the many.

I do know that a lot of information security specialists are concerned about backdoors being put into communication routes as it is only a matter of time before the bad guys discover how to open the door for themselves.

Only better intelligence can prevent the short term the longer term is an investment in culture.

Tragic news that more innocent people have lost their lives in London last night. Sadly I think these terrorists attacks will continue for the foreseeable future. I just wish these nutters would see what there so called Muslims are doing to innocent people around Mosul and other places. RIP all those innocent souls.

Very sad. I was in borough market a few hours before it happened and was actually on my way back there as the police chased us away.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.
