Loved your grovelling PM to me after I kicked off on the previous thread. Perhaps others would like to see it....

How do you "accidentally" put the word "Darlogramps" into a search engine?

Totally out of order Gramps to suggest you might do that. You sound like an immature jilted teenager...........but then again maybe you are?

Yawn. 2nd time in two days you've deciding to add your input to something that didn't concern you.

Do you actually have anything of value to add to this forum? All you seem to do is snipe at people from the sidelines. I presume you are capable of having your own original opinions?

Oh, I think it's fascinating and perhaps we could have further discussions about Fylde being a coastal team while we're at it. On the one hand you're asking someone to PM you and when I do it to say my post was genuinely meant to be humour that's laughed at. I was typing Darlington in and as I'd been arguing with you put in darlogramps but you have it your way. Anyway it made for great reading. This is cheering a gloomy day up. No more PMs let's keep it here.

That's up there with "the dog ate my homework." Even you must admit it sounds pretty terrible.

Your post came across as taking the piss. As if to say "you won an online sports quiz six years ago and now you think you know everything." As by my standards I'd been quite civil in that thread, it was disappointing you were trying to mock.

Amazingly when I called you out on it, it became banter and "humour."

You must have been my teacher cos I've tried that one. Call it banter or humour. That's exactly what it was and I've not had a row with you til now but you seem to want to argue with everyone and everything. I'm actually besotted with your eloquence and incredible grasp of the English language, dear.

Humour is a subjective concept. Your post came as across sarcastic and mocking. It certainly didn't seem like humour to me.

And it is so tedious and lazy to characterise me as "wanting to argue with everyone and everything." This is a public forum, so by its very nature involves differing ideas and arguments. I engage a lot I'll admit but that's my prerogative. But contrary to what some people think, I enjoy people criticising my opinions and engaging with what I say. There are plenty of people on here like Spyman, Quakerz, divas, Super Les, DarloFan97 etc who I don't always agree with, but I respect because they'll offer a well-thought out counter-argument.

What I don't like is when people can't accept me disagreeing with them, so resort to sarcastic, personal or idiotic comments. One poster a few weeks ago criticised me for using long words and asking people to justify their opinions. Why should I respect idiocy like that? I've got every right to challenge opinions I disagree with.

As I said, it was more disappointing you decided to mock me taking part in an online quiz six years ago (an ad hominem fallacy), given our disagreement had been reasonably civil up to that point.

Anyway, enough about me......

You know what gents, sometimes humour doesn't come across as intended when in writing.

Use a winky face next time so we're all on the same page [emoji6]

Spyman, I really wish I had! Unfortunately my limited skills (as shown in my inaccurate search) means I can't use the emoticon option. Perhaps I'll just put joke in brackets afterwards ad infinitum.

Could anyone please advise. I have just renewed my DFCSG membership yet my son (8 years old) is not a member. I was intending to travel up to the Dolphin centre on Wednesday from Rotherham to purchase a ticket for the Salford game and one for my son. The selling criteria for the tickets is one per person. Do you think I would be able to get a child's ticket with my membership or would they expect my son to be a member. Any help/advice will be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Just ordered mine online.

I dont think an 8 year old is going to get pissed and run on the pitch so im sure if you email them and do a bank transfer they will have 2 at the ground for you. They are hoping tickets will be at the turn style again as per last season.

For more info email is : tickets@DFCSG.co.uk they are very helpful.

You've clearly never lived on Firthmoor.

Does anyone know who that fucking tosser Darlogramps is and forward his name to me?

No winks or smiling emoticon. He's winding you up and is best ignored unless you have Roget's thesaurus and the Oxford dictionary to hand. I had to look Firthmoor up-thought it was in Yorkshire!

Surely it'd be my big hands that would need breaking, given I'm such a keyboard warrior.

Out of interest though, if someone did supply my name, how would you go about tracking me down? Genuinely interested to see your thought-process here.

He is Keyser Soze. Appears every now and then, leaving chaos in his wake. You need to hope you do not find him, Darlodaz.

Its an anagram - you should be able to work out his name fairly easily.

Who does he think he is? Legitimately poking fun at me.
