He’s been made available for loan or permanent transfer.
Would you have him back? I certainly would!

If he's been released by Spenny, perhaps he isn't cut out for this level? I'd be tempted to give him a chance though.

can't see it. I don't think he'd get a chance if all the strikers were fit. I don't think you could play him and Beck

(Having sarcastically posted a link to the 'I'd like him back, would you like him back' comedy thread of years gone by, I actually would like Graeme Armstrong back, at least for a bit.)

A thread in which you said 'be careful what you wish for' in reference to a joke about playing Chorley every week......

Anyway, I'd have Armstrong back as cover for Beck

No from me as well.
I have a lot of time for Armstrong and he was very good for us. But, that was then and this is now...We are a division higher and he is two years older.
We should move on.

I'd have him back as cover whilst Beck's injured, if only because I think he brought the best out of Cartman.

Mine also.

It's like crying for Amar and Mitch to come back as well, he was very good for us in the Pritt Stick League's but he wouldn't get a sniff ahead of Carts, Beck and Saunders now.

He left us on great terms lets leave it like that.

It would do us no harm to bring him in as short-term cover just to cover Beck.

A yes from me.

Well seeing as Carts was shunted off to Farsley on loan, why should Armstrong struggle anymore than him?

I'd say no also.

1. It's a higher league and he's a bit older. It stands to reason he's on a downward curve as a player- no disrespect intended.

2. If he isn't good enough for Spenny's first team, he isn't good enough for ours.

Only because of Fenwick and he turned out to be a waste of space.

Pointless crying crocodile tears over former players.

No-ones crying over it. Happen to think he would do ok for us short-term. We know he fits our style of play, and Cartman arguably played his best football for us alongside him. As for Spennymoor, I don't think their style suits him.

I won't lose sleep over him not returning - he won't, I know.

I would take him back as short term cover for Beck. We play in a style that needs a target man.

If he turns out to be superb sign him on. If not thank him for helping us out.

EDIT - then i read the thread below this one and see we have singed a Portuguese forward.
