Old £1 coins

Post by Darlo Since 68 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 4:54 pm

As the old £1 coins are no longer legal tender from today, why don't we all have a route around for any coins lying around in drawers and forgotten wallets, and bring them along to Saturdays game against Bradford P A.

The bucket collectors will gladly take these pesky little coins from you and take them along to the bank.

We will then turn these coins into new seating to satisfy the league and their regulations.

This is recycling small amounts of useless metal into something worthwhile. ;)

Thanks everyone.

What about putting all those leftover foreign coins and other old coins in as well?

I’ve got about £20/£30 of change in Euros if that’s any good to you?
