Has there ever....
Has there ever....
Been a Premiership (or top division) game in which both sides had an ex-Darlo player playing?
Pickford and Schmeichel keeping goal for opposing sides this afternoon.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Has there ever....
possibly haha what a stat to try and prove though!
- Did Dan Burn ever face Kyle Lafferty (Fulham v Norwich?)
- Did Oliver Bernard ever face Robbie Blake (Newcastle v Bradford potentially!?
Gary Pallister v Matty Appleby as well would be another guess (Man U v Barnsley in 1997/98)?

Re: Has there ever....
Wow my last guess was correct. Sunday 15th February Man U 1-1 Barnsley. Pallister started and Appleby came on as a sub.
Re: Has there ever....
Pallister v Speedie possibly?
Re: Has there ever....
Blake and Gregan perhaps?
Re: Has there ever....
I think it's probably more common than you'd think - in fact it's already happened at least once this season when huddersfield (ft. Jonathan hogg) played schmeichel's Leicester.
Then there's the likes of Stockdale, burn, David wheater, Danny Graham...
Actually that's all the examples I can think of.

My memory of Sir Matty was full back or sweeper although his Wiki says he was a midfielderlo36789 wrote:Pallister & Appleby were both centre backs weren't they?Spyman wrote:Ok you bunch of smart arses, has they ever played in the same position as one another?
Re: Has there ever....
Yeh second time around he played central midfield for us. First time I think as a sweeper in the middle of a back three.comeondarlo wrote:My memory of Sir Matty was full back or sweeper although his Wiki says he was a midfielderlo36789 wrote:Pallister & Appleby were both centre backs weren't they?Spyman wrote:Ok you bunch of smart arses, has they ever played in the same position as one another?

It does quite work cos Deano wasn’t ex Darlo at the time.
I did find a Premier League game awhile ago that had five ex Darlo in the game but I’ve forgotten which one!!!!

Bradford v Boro.
Robbie Blake and Deano for Bradford; Fleming and Stamp for Boro plus Maddo who came on as sub for Fleming.
