FA Trophy draw....

Post by LoidLucan » Sun Nov 12, 2017 5:18 pm

First the good news.... South Shields were knocked out at the weekend. There's £5,000 if we progress, then £6,000, then £7,000... but all the possibles I've looked at seem like real banana skins given our cup pedigree. Please, please... just one win, that's all I ask.

Stop asking the impossible, when do we ever win a cup game?

We're so s*** at cup football ? Did I dream Wembley 7 years ago.
But seriously once we win a cup game again there will be no stopping us.

Difficult game and we are likely to be 2nd favourites but it's at home and we could have got a worse draw like away to Brackley.

Hopefully some new players in this week and we are competitive in the game, all set for a Mark Beck winner on his comeback.

Harrogate are beatable. They lost 3-1 on Saturday and by all accounts the margin could have been more.

Not easy, but at least we're at home. Hopefully we can get a decent crowd in.

Tough draw, could have been easier but also could have been much worse, as Spenn said they were well beaten by Spenny and with possibly 3 new signings to come in we will give them a good game without doubt.
