How so?

He's apologised for his tweets and the FA won't charge him. It's just the mainstream media and feminists booting off (shocker).

Are you not a feminist, Andy?

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Perhaps you should start a chant about battering women at the Blyth game on Saturday.

Just bantz after all.

Do you find chants about paedophilia a laugh as well?

Weird that you don't defend yourself. Indeed you don't even ignore it and move away.

Anyone would think it's because it's true.

Which is why you're making the time and effort to reply and hurl abuse. Great logic Andy.

But let's not allow your muck-slinging to distract from the issue of you finding paedophilia and misogyny hilarious.

Thought you said I wasn't worth the time or effort? Yet you've been trying to throw insults for a second day now.

A bit inconsistent there Andy. Like your stance on the subject matter of your mates ' chants.

It's pretty embarrassing for the FA after having to sack their previous manager for allegations made before his appointment (which they were aware of) for the new manager to have to apologise for comments made before taking the role.

Can brush it off as just 'banter' remarks and those nasty feminists kicking off. The tweets aren't exactly funny so I am not sure I 'get it'.

It's just an odd appointment. The best candidate for a job should always get it. I find it bizarre that there was nobody in the mix who had an ounce of 'Management of any senior football club', 'successful coaching credentials' or 'experience working in womens football'. I mean I am not even sure what other "essential experience" the role would have asked for.

The FA should have tried to stay clear of controversy and picked a woman for the job. It's a kick in the face that they felt Gary Neville with no experience was the best person for the job.

Wrong Neville.

I don't think a women is necessarily the right answer. I don't know an awful lot about the WSL managers but I don't think even they have many females managers. Man City & Liverpool definitely have a bloke in charge.

Right person for the job based on experience and ability regardless of gender.

Don't fall for it. Pete's doing that thing again where he deliberately gets something wrong.

He even started the thread with Phil Neville in the title.

He gets off on people correcting him for some reason - it's his form of trolling.

Good start to his tenure, with a 4-1 win over France, who we haven't beaten for over 30 years.
