Leamington v Darlo
Often the term massive game is over used, but not today. We simply can't afford to lose and probably a win is the minimum we need. So no pressure then.
Re: Leamington v Darlo
For me this is a turning point in our season fail to win today and I fear we maybe to far adrift come the end of Feb to recover however win today and it could push us up a few places. Feb is a tough tough month a win today would mean that when we come out of Feb we are still in touch if distance of the teams around us it's a massive massive game

Re: Leamington v Darlo
Yep, a win is essential today. Too many times this season we've messed up at sides in the bottom third. Given we're down there scrapping, we can't afford to slip up today.

Re: Leamington v Darlo
We need big performances from Thomo and Styche for me these two would get in most sides in this league, however it would be nice if the rest came to the party- WTF has happened to Caton !

Re: Leamington v Darlo
Of course we want a win and 'need' a win. But a draw or loss today does not mean relegation. It may be a very negative way of looking at things but teams are at the bottom end of leagues because they lose and, although they have games in hand on us, Gainsborough and Telford will keep tending to lose games. So there is negative hope, even though we all agree that positive is better.

Nothing has happened to Caton. He was shite when Gray signed him and he’s still shite now.The man should be embarrassed every time he picks his money up.PierremontQuaker03 wrote:We need big performances from Thomo and Styche for me these two would get in most sides in this league, however it would be nice if the rest came to the party- WTF has happened to Caton !

Re: Leamington v Darlo
I would call that 7 new or newish players in the line up. No one seems to remain from the previous 3? years of M.G's team as Brown/Galbraith/Scott and Thompson remain from before, and I think have been with us since Northern League days.

Re: Leamington v Darlo
Sounds like Brown has got injured, getting stitches in a head wound. No cover for Brown on the bench if he has to go off.

Leamington down to 10...
Re: Leamington v Darlo
Brown was fuming when he went off. Had been in a couple of scraps with their players, went straight down the tunnel. Think it was to stop him being targeted. Syers on now and improving us. Overall performance muddled and directionless, again. Trotman stand out so far.
Re: Leamington v Darlo
Brown was elbowed in face earlier and it knocked hell out of him. He was furious. Subbed either because of the head injury or because of fears in case he was sent off. No shots on target by either side in open play. Shocking fare altho pitch is bad. If we cant win this now...

Re: Leamington v Darlo
Pears makes a great save low down. 2-1 from the resulting corner.
