Scott and Mills are replaced by Turnbull and Caton, that'll have Leamington worried.

Thomo scores a fantastic individual goal, with the help of a deflection. Game on.

Brilliant result and a big thanks to Darlo fans radio who broadcast from pitch side to keep the commentary going, as always much appreciated!

Got to say, Caton was excellent when he came on today.

Get in Thommo lad, this makes up for the Alfreton pen, about time our luck changed, worried when Syers missed those chances but sounds like Caton made a big difference.Great result after losing Browny, now let's get Portas fit for next week. And York got beat, glass of wine time.Up the Quakers.

Vital win. And let's face it, inexcusable if we didn't.

Hopefully we can pick up a point against Blyth although they might have to go down to 8 men first.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Syers did miss some chances, but we looked a hell of a lot better when he was on.

Only listened to the fans radio but he did seem to make some difference .Not sure if Mills is the answer though, not doing it for me tbh.

It'd be a big boost if Caton can find a run of form - he's obviously got talent, but for most of this season he's been very ineffectual. Sounds like today he made a real difference when he came on.

3 games unbeaten, and next up us a Blyth side who are below us in the form table, having picked up only 4 points in their last 6 games.

Just heading back from the game and yes James Caton certainly did make a difference with some excellent play down the left. Trotman also excellent throughout the games and unsurprisingly Turnbull was influential ran things once he came on.

He'll probably give no credit to TW. He hasn't posted yet, so we never know our luck. Blyth have lost there last 2 so next Saturday might not be a foregone conclusion, especially now our players will be re-energised.

Interestingly Blyth don't do draws! Only one all season and that was at home.

Probably not as this only papers over the cracks. Spirited win yes and much needed in our position, but can you really say with any confidence that this means we've turned the corner? 3-2 against 10 men, didn't make easy work of it? Until we consistently get results and this means against better teams then I'll be just as sceptical about staying up with TW. A win against Blyth next week will go along way...

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Just finished talking to TW and AW after the game. Great guys, great insight into the team. James Caton has a load of talent and they’ve been trying to work out how to get the best out of him. Today was like ‘right..you wanna play for Darlo, go an show us what you can do or get out...’. Caton really keen to please the fans. He shut the boo boys up today. Different class. Let’s get behind the lad. Still a lot of areas to improve on. AW knows it but there were definitely positives, one being that we got goals without Styche. Three points from nowhere

Dont anyone go thinking everythings ok now. At one stage it looked like we would lose to a s*** side forced to play for 50 minutes with ten men and you could hear the sound of knives being sharpened. For quite a while we seemed to be going nowhere but caton helped to stretch them more and late on we got out of jail. Any win will do but there is a lot of work still to do.
