Met office has changed it now Pete to virtually no rain, but BBC has it as you say. I'm a met office fan now.

Use Accuweather and Met Office myself, wouldn't trust the BBC as far as I could spit

Accuweather says 70% chance of rain and says about 6mm will drop. Just hope the groundstaff can work some magic and get the game on

BBC is always the most pessimistic one. Bit like their approach to the news really.

I see we are trialing accepting contactless payments on the turnstiles tomorrow too - another excellent step forwards

More clubs need to be introducing such technology. It's the way forward..

Glad to see Darlo are looking to embrace future technologies.

Well we'll know which weather forecast is right by this time tomorrow. The BBC forecast is actually provided by Meteo Group and I have found them to be very accurate. Hope they're wrong about tomorrow, but sadly I don't think they will be.

Pete, you must be joking. Sometimes BBC says it's dry and i look outside and it's raining. They are hopeless. I think we've had all this before and I'll stick with the fir cone!

We are also introducing automatic face recognition. Two faced toads will not be
allowed entry. Beware.

The only forecast is the Met Office forecast.

No other forecast is a forecast.

Well it's 8am and no rain, although it is getting darker. The weather forecast says no general rain until 11am and then only light throughout the afternoon. So the game should go ahead.

Not today. Was up last weekend of course. 4 games missed last month. The weather followed me around.

Is there any news from the club about whether the game is definitely on / pitch inspection likely?
I’d rather not find out it’s “off” when I’m on the train if possible.
(If it is on I do have a couple of subsidiary concerns centered on whether McfcDarlo03 is going , and if he is which train he’ll be on, but I’ll just take my chances on that score)

Nothing on the club Twitter. At least he won't jinx FC United and Stockport-you can always walk to them!

Pitch is fine and no rain in Darlo as yet.

Only way it will be called off is if it pours down massively between now and 3pm, which the club can't call a game off or arrange a pitch inspection for that.

Spot on.
I’ve already arranged to meet up with another NW based Darlo supporter in Piccadilly Tap at or just after midday before the FC United match so whatever the weather a good time is there to be had, and yes, unless I manage to fall over and break something I can walk to the Stockport game whatever the trains are doing.

Thanks for this
On the train now so if it is called off looks like I’ll be heading to some bar or other to watch whatever early EPL game is on TV

Bet you wish it had been called off.,....what a dismal display by what on paper was a very capable team. Why did the team not show anything positive at all? Just so disappointing.

I feel sorry for joejaques who I chatted to at the game yesterday. He came all the way from Milford Haven in the far south west of Wales. he came up for around 10 days and he hoped to take in 4 games over the easter period, but the only game he saw was the Boston one. We have the best fans in non-league football. Hope you're journey home didn't take 10 hours?
