Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
350 investors now hitting £75,720 with only £4,280 left to find.
20 more investors at current rate will hit the 80k and this would also double the amount of willing investors from last year.

Over £77,700 now!
Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
We're now at exactly £78,000 from 366 investors - truly phenomenal.
Let's not forget, we don't have to stop at 80k, anything extra will go towards Tommy's budget.

Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
Just topped mine up. Never thought we'd get to the £80k to be honest, thought we'd hit sopmewhere between £50-60k.
Presumably we can go over the £80k as long as its done today?

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
Doesn't it make you proud to be part of what we've achieved together? Unbelievable, and a new stand too. Legends game, £20,000 from the goal celebration. £20,000 from 50/50 and bucket collections. Money from the bus raffle and our amazing volunteers. Eat your heart out premier league fans! Feeling part of a proper fan owned club-incredible efforts-well done everyone!
Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
Incredible stuff - I didn't think we'd get near the 80k
Tops off what has been, certainly off the pitch, a very successful season. The stand extension, NLC win, Wright and White, establishment of the Academy. The feel of the club is better than I can ever remember. Just need Wright to use the money wisely now to get us challenging near the top of the league to win back some of those fans. Oh, and to sort out a cup run too. No pressure Tommy

Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
Fantastic effort to get over £80,000 ... it's been a positive last few months (Southport match apart !) on and off the pitch

A fantastic effort by the fans once again

Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
The supporters of DFC are incredible.
I told a friend who is linked to another non-league club that at one fans forum meeting someone said that the club was thought of as a “laughing stock” by everyone else in football.
My friend snorted and confirmed that this is nonsense.
I have never been more proud of the supporters of this club and never been more proud of the club itself.
I thought we’d do well to get to anywhere around £50k especially when the figures seemed to stall a bit at just over £40k but here we are with hours still to go at £81,949!
A word also for the management of the club and DFCSG. They have been at the heart of creating an atmosphere where supporters want to be involved and contribute. We are very lucky to have them as Darlo fans & they are worth far more than some, probably fickle, “investor “ who wants to own a football club so a big thanks to all of you too. (You know who you are)

Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
Chucking in the £20k from the goal celebration vote, that's £100k that we've got in the clubs pocket for next season that we wouldn't have had without the efforts of the fans.
Terrific.

Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
take note hartlepool fans......and none of the £100k is a loan in disguise that won't have to be paid back to anyone....
Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
And surely the stability that such a club brings and the inclusion of our fans is a big coup in retaining and recruiting players, such as anyone who may want to sign for other clubs whose stability is uncertain or who have benefactors who could pull the plug at any moment. Just look at York, BPA and Nuneaton to name but a few in recent weeks.
Re: Coming soon - Boost the budget
£82,549 from 400 investors.
Yes, 400 investors
We have average gates of 1,400 this season, when you think how many of those fans will be children, students or people with absolutely no spare income - then 400 fans is an unbelievable chunk of our support
