Darlo Uncovered board at BM.
For those not on Twitter. For me this board represents an advertisement of who we are , what we are about and is now part of our history. To keep the board in the same place would be the right thing to do, so if you can please help
The Darlo Uncovered advertising board is up for renewal and we are asking/begging for donations. We have agreed with the club to relocate to raise even more money. If you could spare a few pounds please donate via paypal scott@ukrivals.net
UPDATE ON THE BOARD. Should we raise £600 then we will be keeping the board in the same place at the back of the Tinshed. If we reach the total and somehow manage an excess then we will pay this also to the club. http://www.darlofc.co.uk/news/1257 donate via paypal. scott@ukrivals.net

Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. The image on the right will be constantly updated with the latest total so please feel free to use the image link below the thermometer on your own signatures, blogs, websites, etc. | Image link: http://www.mydarlo.co.uk/img/BTD-therm-350x100.jpg |

1k+VAT if it's a new board, as materially needs paying for etc.shawry wrote:I thought it was £1000 plus vat for the big boards now?
Is there a reason we get it cheaper?

Think its 500+VAT FOR A renewal. So £600 for us as we can't claim the VAT back sadly.
Re: Darlo Uncovered board at BM.
Maybe a bit late for this year but moving forward we should think about how we want to work with the club on this. It strikes me as odd that we treat this like a commercial sponsorship board including fans having to raise £100 to pay VAT on it every year. It’s us paying us to promote a message that defines us!
Whether it is this board or something completely new the message it conveys should be in the most prominent place we can find on the whole site and should be proudly displayed by the club on behalf of its fans.
I must be getting sentimental in my old age.
[In the meantime I have chipped in regardless.]

Ok that's makes sense, from a personal point of view i would happily give up the spot if the club had a new sponsor that was looking to have a big board.super_les_mcjannet wrote:1k+VAT if it's a new board, as materially needs paying for etc.shawry wrote:I thought it was £1000 plus vat for the big boards now?

We all have different views on certain things, my view is that this board is a symbol of what we are about, however the people who put the money should ultimately decide.shawry wrote:Ok that's makes sense, from a personal point of view i would happily give up the spot if the club had a new sponsor that was looking to have a big board.super_les_mcjannet wrote:1k+VAT if it's a new board, as materially needs paying for etc.shawry wrote:I thought it was £1000 plus vat for the big boards now?
