Caton watch
Will be interesting to see where he ends up and how the deal stacks up for us financially.

Re: Caton watch
Wouldn’t be shocked if he ended up at Altrincham or even Curzon.

Shared a flat with his "Bro" Devante Rodney who was at Hartlepool. He has moved to Salford so Curzon is probably about right. No doubt will be wearing gloves mid August.

I believe he will end up at Marine FC.

Another Cryptic message from James Caton - "Whites Sign Caton" on his background of his twitter account- referring to when Dover signed him, wonder if he is going back there.

No doubt we'll have to pay a lot of his wages, so it won't be a big saving on the budget at the moment.

Re: Caton watch
Should suit him as they only play half a game as well !!!!!
Re: Caton watch
Anything is something. He’s only got 1 more season to go anyway and then we can wash our hands.Darlo_Pete wrote:No doubt we'll have to pay a lot of his wages, so it won't be a big saving on the budget at the moment.
Also...seems to have scored inside 20 seconds of their game tonight.

Sounds like he has found his level.
There is a huge jump between this level and the Evostik, look at how prolific "Carts" was in the Evostik (1N especially)

Just keep you up to date Q, Richard Brodie came on as a sub for Warrington but failed to scoreQuakerz wrote:Sounds like he has found his level.

Re: Caton watch
Continuing the ex player/manager obsession I see Carts scores for Farsley last night versus S. Shields who had Gary Brown sent off.
Re: Caton watch
I didn’t feel much of a gulf between any of the leagues from the Northern League upwards until the Conference North, which was huge.Quakerz wrote:Sounds like he has found his level.

Re: Caton watch
Surely a good thing as Warrington may want to secure his services by offering Caton a full contract , thus boosting our funds by taking him off our payroll & ideally (though cannot see it) paying us a transfer fee?divas wrote:2 in 3 I thinkDarlopartisan wrote:Scored a goal for Warrington tonight
Re: Caton watch
Not sure how this is going to work out. Caton got 15 minutes of action from the bench on Saturday and just 12 minutes in their game last night. Another winger that they've signed has been getting rave reviews.

Re: Caton watch
Unused sub for Warrington in their FA Cup victory yesterday which I think may have been the final game of his one-month loan. Hasn't been used a great deal by them despite being fully fit... should be some news this week.
Re: Caton watch
The squad is so thin, he's got to be on the bench next week I would think.
Re: Caton watch
I don't know, add in ainge, styche and galbraith to henshall, Glover and Bancroft and that's enough to cover 17 places.

Bancroft isn't always included, he wasn't selected yesterday for example.tdk1 wrote:I don't know, add in ainge, styche and galbraith to henshall, Glover and Bancroft and that's enough to cover 17 places.
Come on Darlo!

Re: Caton watch
But there was a youth keeper on the bench so you'd assume that's one slot taken up regardless.
