According to Stoddart Collins is crocked and needs an operation to sort out his injuries.

It was just interesting he said that he had a fully fit squad, we all think I’m sure that Dom won’t play for us again, which is probably why TW said he had a fully fit squad.Vodka_Vic wrote:According to Stoddart Collins is crocked and needs an operation to sort out his injuries.

The lad is a crock, been injured since day one. If the he can’t be relied upon then what is the point? I can’t believe that whist he spent months out with a hamstring injury he didn’t get the toe injury he’s been carrying since he signed sorted.

Wheatley with a hernia (even repaired) is NOT fit. Verging on negligence to allow players returning from injury to be put at risk by playing them whilst not 100%
Re: Wright says Fully fit squad therefore .....
I had a hernia. I'm not a pro footballer but do enough sport and can tell you that you'll never be able to give 100% with a hernia. You always psychologically protect it, and if you overuse it then it causes nausea which means that your energy goes anyway. It's not a good situation.

Different hernias are possible though, unless you had the same type and severity as Wheatley it's not worth comparing.Vodka_Vic wrote:I had a hernia. Plenty of footballers have had hernias and played on for a period, personally no idea if that's possible for Wheatley, I guess time will tell.

With all these issues relating to injuries, players not playing, loss of form and money it seems that a fans forum could be an idea to 'clear the air' so to speak.

Link it to the race night? Agreed, need a forum to clear some of the speculation.
