Not forgetting that stunning result for plucky little non-leaguers Salford at the League One big boys. Dont know how they manage to do it.

Would be interesting to compare their playing budgets. Don’t know what is par for league one but I know a chap who supports Southend and theirs was £3m a couple of seasons ago.Darlopartisan wrote:Er, now let me think got it ‘Money’LoidLucan wrote:Not forgetting that stunning result for plucky little non-leaguers Salford at the League One big boys. Re: National League North - FA Cup Results
Andy Holt the Accrington Stanley owner has said that their seasons budget is £2.2m. Though that includes all non playing staff etc. By his reckoning it was the lowest in league one and lower than a number of League 2 clubs. In comparison there was speculation that Forest Green were spending Crica £1.4m on playing budget (based on amounts stated in the clubs accounts) to get out of the conference and Tranmere something similar.
