Mine said the same did not tell her I'm upping mine as well.ron-harbertson-hero wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 11:00 pmAMAZING after one day to have reached so much. I have upped mine from last year, the wife thinks that I am mad! No I am a Darlo fan from afar and cannot attend home games, going to away games does not help the cause, BtB does.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
£27,964 now raised in less than 21hrs.
Not sure we will quite hit the 80k this year but you never know.
If we add in 50/50, Lottery and say 10k from DFCSG in shares, whilst also hitting the 80k then that's approx. 120k put in by Owners/Fans, impressive stuff.
A fans forum with a new manager in say 2 weeks could really help build things up, we need some direction from the board even if that is just some financial targets for next season and updates around the club.

Good point, I think I still have one payment to go as it's 13 months we committed to.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Bump.
Slowed right down the last few days. Let’s get this done as soon as possible.

Was always going to slow down after the first couple of days but it's bank holiday weekend as well.
Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
Would also think that quite a few fans are holding off until they see who the new manager is.
Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
Yeah I imagine so.
Which is each individuals perogative.
Ironic as well how the success of boost the budget could likely determine the standard of manager we are able to appoint as well. Let’s hope too many people don’t hold off until an appointment is made.

Spot on, I think the appointment of a good manager at this level will give the boost another boost

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
So £40k up after 5 full days of BTB.
181 investors compared to 420 last year, so 239 missing investors currently. That's not a dig as not everyone can or wants to give every year.
I would hope we can add an extra 120 or so though at the average of £221.54 which would give a further £26.6k taking us to £66.7k which is excellent even if the target was £80k.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
Upto 40k, we’re 50% there after less than a week.
Hopefully get upto 50/60k and then when new manager is appointed in the next few weeks we’ll smash the target.

What makes you think we'll only get another 120 investors Les?super_les_mcjannet wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 7:36 pmSo £40k up after 5 full days of BTB.

I see no reason why we can't match last years effort both in terms of overall investors, and £££s raised.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
I didn't think we would get anywhere near £80k last year and was very surprised at what we did get, I hope we do but I am trying to be cautious. Also I think we may have a drop out due to not getting value for money last year and I just think some will give it a miss this year.Ghost_Of_1883 wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 7:43 pmWhat makes you think we'll only get another 120 investors Les?super_les_mcjannet wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 7:36 pmSo £40k up after 5 full days of BTB.

However with 24 days to go and a new manager to be revealed in that time then hopefully that can push us to 80k again.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
£2,129 been added just today.
We just need to keep it ticking over until new manager announced/coming to the end where you often get a bit of a surge.

Me three!
Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
The uptake has been quicker than I thought - I imagine there are a decent number of people waiting to see who is appointed too
The average amount per fan always impresses me - well over £200 per person on average.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20
60% now hit.
£48,057 raised towards our target.
I’ll be increasing my DD once the new manager is in place, as I expect there’ll be a mini-surge once we have appointed.

Just added mine and a slight increase. Every penny counts and hope we beat last year's total.
