Re: 2018/19 Goal of the season
They're all stunning and you could make a case for each of them. But for me it's Number 3, Jordan Nicholson's against Altrincham. I think what sets it above the rest is the way the goal is worked the entire length of the field with some great passing from the back through the midfield and then some fine skill from Nelson up front before the fantastic strike by Nicholson. Great team goal and a fine shot, the complete goal.

Agreed, very hard to choose but does bring a smile just to see us score. Also set me wondering why this type of goal are so rare at BM, as they are what we need to bring the crowds in.

quite liked the first one. pin point accuracy and done after a bit of a run so did well to be composed enough to pick a spot and execute

Nicholson against BPA for me, gets the ball on the halfway line and goest 20-25 yards with it and then just curls it in top bins.
Absolutely no complaints if Thompson’s against Kiiderminister wins mind as that was a belter too

Ben Jackson for me, terrific effort. I didn't like the soundtrack, would have preferred to of had Darlington Fans Radio commentary, rather than that dreadful music.

This is the stuff of Comfortably_numb's nightmares Unlike goal number 3, which was just liquid football.
Re: 2018/19 Goal of the season
I know he's not our player but would have liked to have seen Andrew Nelson's wonder strike that won us the home game against Ashton united in there.

Has the winner been announced yet, as I thought it would have been announced at the end of season awards.

What i don't get is why the club has made it so difficult for fans to find this information

I would've personally gone for the Nelson thunderbastard, but we've had some unbelievable goals this year, and Thommo's is a cracker too.
A few more less spectacular ones as well and we might've achieved a little more this year.
