Can't we just have a poll as to whether to ban the troll that is "spen".
Although there are arguments, disagreements, and spats between people on here, we all have the best interests of Darlington football club at heart. All except spen666.
If a poll revealed more than 66% don't want spen on here, then he's gone and good riddance

On the subject of the truth. “The truth, you can’t handle the truth” a point proven when you still denied that Brad had made a 7 figure investment in Spennymoor...and that was before last season when he’s now made clear that promotion is the goal...

I , unlike you, am not privy to the details of Spennymoor Town's accounts, nor the details of players wages, transfer fees or signing on fees.

I have no idea whatsoever how much Brad or any of the other corporate investors at Spennymoor have put into the club.

I have no evidence whether Brad or others have put in £1 or £100m and am not going to confirm or deny something I do not have evidence about.

If you want to believe Brad has put £1m into Spennymoor Town then you believe that.

Not sure what your obsession is with how much Brad has or has not invested. Knowing this doesn't change anything for me or for anyone else.

I am more concerned with enjoying the journey than worrying about something I have no evidence about
I'm not privy to anything but public announcements made by the club, which you have been pointed towards on multiple occasions you absolute doughnut.

Then you know as much as me.

I have seen the self serving statement you refer to. That doesn't prove it is correct and accurate, not does it prove it is false. all it proves is that the person made a self serving statement.

Not sure why you :
a) have such an obsession with how much has been invested into Spennymoor football club
b) are so keen to get me to confirm something I have no knowledge about.

If you want to believe the figure invested is £1m, then I am not going to disagree with that, nor am I in a position to agree with that. I simply do not know. Neither do I know how much any player at any club is being paid/ offered in wages or signing on fees, nor the size of clubs playing or other budgets.

Shame you don't take that stance on twitter but you appear happy to comment on there about many things DFC.

Of course Brad has invested more than £1m and he has done a great job doing it, time to give him the credit he deserves.

Surprised at that one of the worst goalkeepers we've ever had.

He really wasn’t. He lost confidence and never regained it. Not helped by being berated by some sections of our support too.

He had his weaknesses of course, find me a keeper at this level who doesn’t. But he was certainly no Ashlee Jones.

Exactly Gramps a section of our so called fans think all our players should be premiership class cos we are Darlington and who ever plays for us should never have a bad game and never lose confidence at this level... God it really pees me off the way some fans carry on and slate players constantly

Having talked to someone who actually coached Maddison, he said he was struggling because he had gone from training day in day out with a specialised coach to training 2 times a week and not always with a specialised coach.
Add to that the fact, like gramps says, that fans were quick to get on his back, as they did for Jameson and for awhile with Bartlett too.

That tells me he didn’t know how to train. If he’d been coached for years one on one then he should’ve listened. He wasn’t crap, he had too much expectation on him and suffered as a result. But still, all he had to do was remember all his previous coaching and do it.
Waiting for Raj to shaft them!

Leaving aside our first season at Heritage Park, I can’t remember a pre season with so many changes. Just a handful of familiar faces remain, but unlike previously, I’m not sure I will miss any of the departed.
