York really seem to be bottling it big style. Personally I'd prefer Kings Lynn to go up automatically & hopefully York will fail in the play-offs, even though they are potentially even represent a bigger threat next season.

Just been reading about the crazy goings-on at Gloucester and it's probably just as well for them that they didn't have a game. Some time ago they lost an FA Cup tie against Whitby and the joint-chairman wasn't a happy man and started phoning round the players asking whether they thought he should sack the manager. Manager tackled him about it in a blazing row and the row simmered on ending with the joint-chairman sacking him at the weekend. Apparently the joint chairman has some coaching badges and likes to "get involved". There's hell on among the fans.

Anyway, the club says it is going to appoint a full-time manager and after they return to their redeveloped old ground in Gloucester next season they'll be looking at possibly going full-time. Joint-chairman says he's got his sights set on, yes you've guessed it, the Football League.

If you're only going to watch one goal from the weekend, make it Callum Roberts' hat-trick goal for Blyth Spartans, it's amazing, after going the full length of the pitch. He's now got 13 for them this season... they'll be well fecked when he moves on, as he surely will.

Aye, nice goal. Good run and the presence of mind to lift it when his first shot was blocked. His second goal was pretty good too.

He's absolutely head and shoulders above this league. I doubt he'll be there beyond January as surely someone comes knocking from higher up the ladder, but it'll probably make Blyth a few valuable quid.
