Excellent by those who turned up to put the covers on and take them off again this morning, well done .
Sounds like Lambert will start today, might fill that slot up front, or maybe a rabbit out of the hat from AA , sounded like we were close to signing a player from his last interview , just couldn't get it over the line.

A little disappointed to see Omar drop out of the team, but I suspect part of the deal with Lambert being here is that he has to play?

Good team, i think Rivers is very unlucky to be the one to drop out, but Donowa really does deserve his chance. Hope he can grab another goal.

Come on!

Tale of two halves, 2nd half sounded like one way traffic and exactly why we lack options and especially in the final third. Very disappointing!

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Worst second half performance at home since AA took over, absolutely pissed off with that.

:wtf: Back to Earth with a bump let's remember what we wished for at the start of the season though great performance from the fans who helped get the game on no need to worry, yet.

Well that was depressing. Criminal to take a short corner at that point, obviously easy to say now, but should’ve just lumped it. Worst second half of football under Armstrong

It was but I’d rather be where we are now than where we were this time last year. In Alun we trust!

Did AA go home at half time and Tommy Wright come back for 2nd half.Just can’t understand why Tommo was not subbed as he was clearly struggling with an injury he looked like he sustained just before half time.Admire his attitude but surely AA could see he was at half pace !

Tore them apart in the first half with some great football but it unravelled from the moment Campbell's bad mistake handed them the chance to get in behind and cross for a simple first goal (their first effort of note and handed on a plate). Their second looked well offside but we were dreadful in the second half and gave the ball away on countless occasions.

They had the luxury of being able to bring on a striker like Dinanga at half-time while we had no striker options. If we give the ball away like that and stand off in that manner, I would fear what the likes of Chester and Solihull will do to us.

The nature for those goals were absolutely indefensible, every one of them. And every time there's a game where we concede those infuriating goals where the centre of defense disappears and the striker ends up with an eternity to pick his spot one on one, there seems to be a common theme.

Think we do need a couple of fresh legs. Those 3 long term injuries really bite whenever we have injuries and suspensions like we had today. The loss of Tyrone is huge , which AA has obviously acknowledged. I also think there may still be a bit of a cup hangover and we need to move on quickly.

How their second goal was allowed i just don't know or should i say i do know, the linesman was nowhere near the play the player was at least 5 yards off side ,but lino so out of position he couldn't make the decision. Their first was a mistake by Adam passing it onto their players feet for a simple pass to the striker.the third goal darlo players spent.why was holness or bascome not used in the last 20 minutes. Anyway move on to Lemington and hopefully 3 points .keep the faith.

For me, AA got a few things wrong today. When it was 2-1 Tommo was clearly injured so he should’ve come off not Campbell. Lambert seemed to drift out of the game and Holness should’ve come on when it was 2-1 at least. The same defender Breedon refers to was at fault for all three goals, right centre back. No one comes out with much credit from that today.

Apologies in advance if you genuinely struggle with this kind of stuff. Drives my OCD crazy.

How the hell did we lose that game after a brilliant first 45 mins where we should have been 4 up.You just knew what would happen after that sloppy pass by Campbell which gifted them a goal on the restart but where was our marking to give their lad an open goal The 2nd was crazy, not sure about the offside but where was our shape?.Was gutted at 2-2 and again our awful, fragile defending has gift wrapped them all 3 points.
It just seems we are a first half team and seem to start well and just fade. The ball is not sticking up front and puts more pressure on the midfield and back 4.Missed Tez today and we will be struggling if he is not back asap as Laing just does not do it for me.

For those of a Biblical disposition our defence does too often resemble the Parting of the Red Sea where one ball chucked forward opens us up hopelessly and completely. We, on the other hand, rarely get such gifts from over-generous defences.

Are we fragile confidence-wise?

Going 2-1 down for some teams isn’t the end of the world and their mentality is to strive to go 3-1 up...
