They would have to count all the dirt-cheap season ticket holders and all the free ones (300-plus) as having attended as they do for home games.

Well for a start you can only get 600 in the away end. No doubt you'll only bring the usual 300.
If we play like we did on Saturday, then we will prevail against Spendymoor.

Polarbear goes fishing. Polarbear gets his bites.
Can’t believe how some fell for it.

Not fishing at all, its a realistic amount, the last few seasons its been more than 600, our average attendance is only 300 less than darlo, we had over 1000 at york

No free buses this year by all accounts and 112 places available, no mention to say fully booked yet.
They travel a lot better these days, think Brad encouraging it by subsidising and offering free buses has really helped them. I would expect 400 max though.

Correct Al - Spennymoor Town took 456 on the first day of a 4 day Easter Bank Holiday weekend to York, when playoffs were the shout.
As you say very good numbers and no need to make numbers up to try and make others believe an incorrect number, it probably is a sense of insecurity of some kind.

He knows fine well how many they took to York, but is saying Spenny took more than us because he knows it winds people up.
He’ll be sitting back cackling at all the people he’s wound up and I don’t blame him.

Polar bear is one of those chefs on Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares who says 'My food is superb - 10 out of 10 and Gordon will love it' and then proceeds to serve up a plate of shite.

Re: Pride Of County Durham Boxing Day
The most you have ever brought to us was 373 on free buses. You took a smidge over 400 to York last season which was impressive but bizarre in equal measures as Darlo is much closer.
