Looks like a replica ISL shirt is being re-issued details on Monday.

Bet this outsells the new one.
Kick in the teeth to EBAC if it does.

Hopefully sales of this one will be just about done before next season's strip becomes available & lots of us will buy both.

I can afford £80 or whatever to blow on two tops, doubt a lot of our fans can though.
If I had a choice of one or the other I’d go for the ISL one every time.

I'm guessing it may not be 40 quid. Retro reproductions sometimes aren't full whack, Boro do some for 25 quid a go.

Indeed, but I doubt these will have the same price point as a full shirt. They're not by a recognised sports company, and won't really be for wearing for sport.

Cost price is similar to the big manufacturers but they can be produced in limited runs rather than huge minimum order quantities so prove flexible for this sort of thing.

Pricing will be announced tomorrow morning when the shirts go on sale. Or maybe they’ll be on the online shop before then....

Same price as a 'current' shirt, purchased for novelty value. It would he great to see a few more of these retro shirts over the coming years.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

That’s the plan 👍

We should also have some complimentary items soon too.

Looks lovely

The question I would have though is whether they will be available after the 15th March? That + season tickets also on sale this month means theres a not insignificant amount of cash to find!

Yes, we will be carrying stock in the club shop also once the pre-orders arrive. Pre-orders allow us the liquidity to do that and also gauge demand for how much stock to order.

Don’t mind the price point at all. Will try and pick one up at my next home game.

Ah man, what an absolute shirt that one is, my favourite shirt ever.

The yellow piping is just so wrong, yet so right.

And what a team we had wearing it, as well.

I said it might be... not that it would.

A lot are. I've got one of those score draw retro england shirts and that was about 25 quid too. It was a fair guess.

I don't mind paying 40.

Was ISL Dick Cordens own business or have I just made that up?

I saw an ISL sign on a Stockton building last year. Is this the same company?

Not according to the About Us section of their website:
Interlink Scaffolding Ltd, commonly referred to as ISL Scaffolding, was established in November 2003
Although the black and yellow branding clearly harks back to our ISL days.

The story is that one of the founding directors of Interlink Scaffolding used to be a director at Industrial Scaffolding Limited and wanted to use a similar name, logo, colour scheme.

Other than that no link between the two.
