Re: Incoming goalkeeper
I'd imagine that if the keeper is a loan from Boro, the appointment of Warnock for next season, will mean that loans will be put on hold until Warnock has had a chance to look at his squad before making any decisions.

Oh...I hate waiting. Is that delayed or might not happen at all?onewayup wrote:Keeper, Might not happen yet it seems.

Pretty sure there will be an incoming keeper at some point. Would be very bold of Armstrong to go into a new season with no recognised keeper

He is famed for liking attacking football!
Wasn't he still at Newcastle as a player under Keegan? Perhaps he will adopt the "no matter how many the opposition score, we will score 1 more" approach of Keegan.
Can think of a few goalkeepers over the years who would have fancied an outfield role

Carl Shutt - I remember him playing in goal - he wasn't low on confidence levels either.

Re: Incoming goalkeeper
I can't imagine a young keeper with little experience would be a Warnock keeper - so I would be surprised if he stood in his way of a loan move anywhere.
