No need at all for the rusting Arena at all now.
Why pay rent on 2 grounds when no fans allowed in either?
Live streaming from our home ground of Blackwell meadows please...

Won't happen as the Arena worshippers won't allow it and won't be happy till we are in admin again playing in the crook and district league in front of 250 at the rusting Arena
Note to all other posters please ignore the above post and hopefully he will go away.
Truth hurts does it Arena worshipper
No need at all for the Arena now
Doubt we would be allowed now anyway as no fans allowed
Live home games streaming from Our home ground which is Blackwell meadows please

NL have to date been clear we do not play without fans.

Not sure which games you plan to stream if we aren't playing any.

If we hadn't been reclassified as elite because York wanted to play in playoffs we wouldn't be in this position - but hey ho.

21 game season maybe? I’m hoping maybe they scrap the plans but allow a 1,000 cap at all levels (where appropriate distancing is possible). 1,000 people rattling around a large stadium outdoors is clearly lower risk than packing people in pubs.

Thing is they are not packing people into pubs. Pubs must provide table service only.

A pub can only be as packed as the area allows with tables socially distanced from each other.

Think how much seating is actually available once a distancing is applied and how much space there will actually be. I agree that is behaving in a way where you just sit in your seat and watch the game (like a cinema perhaps) then the risk is low.

The issue is I suspect that it's the same thing driving the 10PM curfew, limiting the likelihood of behaviour which contravenes social distancing.

The scenes at Hashtag United have probably put a nail in the coffin for many clubs as the moment goals are scored and there is potential for emotional reaction social distancing goes out the window.

Live streaming of an empty ground with no players and no match will be a tad boring don't you think?

Sounds a lot like a normal matchday in the Staunton era.

Agree with all of this.
