Their game today appears to be postponed so they will be rested for Wednesday...... here we go no prizes for the first person on here to claim that we will be ring rusty by Wednesday night!

Think you are being a bit sarcastic aren't you? We are entering at 3rd Round qualifying stage winners take £2,450. All helps I know but the amounts are smallish.

Just good to get a game in ahead of the Boxing Day Spennymoor clash. At least Hunt will have recovered from his concussion and able to pick from a nearly fully fit squad. Every £ helps and a win would restore confidence after the Bristol Rovers collapse

Following your logic that would mean we get beaten on Wednesday night which would not be good! Otherwise the winners play again on Saturday so let's look at it as possibly two games before we play Spenny!

Ok. We actually enter at the 2nd round proper. If you don't believe me look on the official website. Win our next 2 games and It's a guaranteed 10k.

It doesn't take much to confuse but this clearly has. I'll just embarrass myself one more time and shut up, but if we win the next two games isn't it a guaranteed £8,250?

I think the previous post was rounding up, but if you take the win money for these two games, £8,250 you can then be sure to have, at least, the £1,500 losers money from the next round, so £9,750. I assume that is where the quoted 10k comes from.

Correct on all points including the rounding up. I like to keep it simple.

There are no excuses for not winning against City of Liverpool. A 2 week rest should do the players good and allow those aches and strains to clear up. A winning home performance is long overdue and this is a great opportunity to put it right. Hopefully 2 games and 2 wins in the Trophy will set us up nicely for Spennymoor on Boxing Day.

Wasn’t trying to be. 2/3 wins and you’ve made a decent whack. Well worth it. Clubs have done well in our league by getting into the quarters/semis/final, although a massive distraction from the league

As I said above apologies for getting my maths wrong. Perhaps in the current circumstances we don't need another "massive distraction from the league" but a bit of cash and 2 home wins would do nicely.
