City of Liverpool FC

First encounter between ourselves and City of Liverpool FC tomorrow night.

It should be an intriguing tie. Who knows which Darlo will turn up and our opposition, who will be well up for it, are an unknown quantity to us.

The YOURCLUB team are very grateful to Mike Meadows, part of City of Liverpool FC's media crew, for writing this for the site:

Good article & well done to them. If they were playing anyone other than Darlo I'd be wishing them all the luck in the world, as it is I'll wish them all the best for the future AFTER tomorrow night.

Don’t want to jump the gun but we now know who we will play Saturday all being well. Telford scraped through 10-1 against Coleshill.

I’ve seen The Purps play once before at Stockton in the Vase. They are a good club with great fans but sadly none will be in attendance tonight which is a shame as they would have brought a few up (more on a Saturday of course).

Everton blue and Liverpool red = Purple for those wondering.

Defence looking very shaky. Impressed with Minter so far. Need to play down the right wing more.

We need to play down both wings a bit more and then deliver some quality crosses

Job well done and some more minutes in the players legs. Just wish we could be a bit more of a threat at corners. I don't think we ever have been since Galbraith left. I thought Rivers had a good game.

Yes a good workout and only criticism is that we should have converted more of our chances.

Telford won't be as easy & they polished their goal scoring by racking up 10 albeit against lowly opposition too. We should have, but didn't.....

Plus they are in our league and have won 4 out of 6 visits to BM and Liverpool are only step 4.

I thought Rivers played well too and he would have been my MOM with more crossing ability and end product
