Farsley coverage
Farsley coverage
Does anyone know how to watch the game tomorrow night? I can't find any info on the Farsley site.

Hope the pitch is better than last season when it was in a shocking state.

Ah, thank you

It seems we will be playing in a new third strip tonight to avoid clsh with Farsleys green/white hoops

Re: Farsley coverage
Good to see more numbers available for the squad tonight. Liddle and Atkinson available again after work commitments and Holness fit enough to be in the squad albeit he hasn't trained/played since Spennymoor on boxing day. Big question will be whether you play/risk Holness from the start. For me, I'd probably save him until 55/60 minutes or so. Play Atkinson as the holding player in a midfield 3 and let Hatfield and Wheatley do the running. Upfront I'd bring in Charman again. Makes us more mobile going forward than playing O'Neill, as he can run the channels more comfortably but still has the physical presence to play with his back to goal. Plenty of fire power on the bench if we keep ourselves in the game and defend well from the off.
Not what I think AA will go for (think he will keep in Reid over Storey), but I'd pick:
------------------------ Saltmer ------------------------
McMahon --- Hunt --- Storey ------- Liddle
---- Hatfield ----- Atkinson ---- Wheatley ---
Sousa ------------ Charman ------- Campbell
Subs: Watson, Holness, Rivers , O'Neill, Maguire

Re: Farsley coverage
Might not be a popular choice but I'd have Reid in midfield. Farsley are likely to be physical so I think we need extra presence in midfield otherwise we could be bullied like we were last week.

Re: Farsley coverage
Rivers for Atkinson for me (would have been Holness but he hasn't trained for a couple of weeks). Storey/Reid is debatable, but it doesn't bother me too much which one starts.JE93 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 10:48 amGood to see more numbers available for the squad tonight. Re: Farsley coverage
Farsley doing well to keep game on. Chorley is the only other game on tonight. Can expect a very wet & sticky pitch & hope it doesn't freeze during the game
Re: Farsley coverage
Has anyone tried to logon to the Farsley Livestream yet?. All I get is a blank black screen, and I think I saw somewhere that they're supposed to be broadcasting from 6pm.
Re: Farsley coverage
6pm !
How do you expect them to fill 1 hour 45 minutes before the game starts. Perhaps the could have organised an Its A Knockout like the old days before the FA Cup Final. No Stuart Hall though.

Re: Farsley coverage
Yep I’ve got the black screen at the moment.
Got to say lot easier logging in than Brackley.

Re: Farsley coverage
Take your point OG, but I'm pretty sure I saw some reference on the website to some sort of bonus broadcast tonight. Maybe referring to something else. It would have been good to see It's A Knockout though, better than a blank screen!
Re: Farsley coverage
Anyone got anything yet? Still got a black screen

Re: Farsley coverage
Some sloppy stuff going on, or it’s 5 aside footy going on so frustrating
Re: Farsley coverage
Jeez, this ref is nearly as ropey as the pitch.
Re: Farsley coverage
Referee hasn’t come far then!!
Re: Farsley coverage
Your miles away from the action with this camera but it looked very much like Spencer bludgeoned Reid to the deck with his elbow. The farsley twitter glossed over things with just "Spencer cautioned" and nothing else. Our boys looked none too happy with it. Quite an entertaining game on a diabolical pitch. I'll bet Farsley have scored quite a few set-piece ones like that this season.

Can't even create a chance this half. I'm sure football is not as hard as we make it look.
