There was a really good question about the isolation of players and couldn’t hear a single word Gowling said.

Perhaps need to look at how they do this next time, possibly need to use fixed microphones. It's like listening underwater.

Given up as well, could hear Stu but anyone on the front table was like being underwater. Appreciate the effort but England game for me

I’m out of here when board member Scully asks Josh a question, it gets a bit questionable, like what attracted you to the multi millionaire Paul Daniels for the old ones.

Yeah that was such an obviously planted question. Embarrassing

Isn't the quality of the broadcast down to the hotel rather than the organisation that hired the room if the mics etc are dodgy?

The club could really help itself with communication. For a club like ours, the news that we are providing accommodation is a big plus. What's wrong with a news story on the website about this? Looking at other club website news, this is the sort of thing provided, particularly as DJ said that players travelling doesn't work, so a step to address this so that we can recruit players from further afield is big for us. So promote it!

Did not listen to broadcast. You mean like in the 60s and 70s when we had club houses!

So we planted a question through our own SLO?

I only watched the first fifteen minutes due to the stream quality, but DJs attitude would have been enough for me to switch it off anyway.

Also, I am fed-up of hearing excuses for the Chorley result - did someone on the panel really say that we had put a lot into Saturday and our players have day-jobs?

Chorley have a similar playing budget to us, are part-time, played three days before, and have players that have day-jobs too.

Also, Gowling is adamant in saying he hasn't been beaten before by over two goals at Hereford:

FA Trophy - Heybridge Swifts 3-0 Hereford
NLN - Kidderminster 3-0 Hereford
NLN - Hereford 1-4 Fylde
NLN - Spennymoor 4-0 Hereford

Fed-up of listening to these truth twisters.

He's not a board member is he?

He volunteers in multiple roles but didn't think he sat on the board of the club or the DFCSG?

Not sure what type of accommodation. I remember the days when Nigel Batch used to stay at Woodlands Road Guest House.

He’s great, but a BM asking another BM a loaded question isn’t really needed.

I was very shocked & surprised to hear the Supporters Group Chair list a number of pitiful excuses for our 8-0 humiliation the other night.

That result & performance was unjustifiable. I was really disappointed to hear the Board make excuses for it and not condemn it as unacceptable.

Worrying.

My favourite part was when Josh Gowling addressed people thinking he was too nice for the situation we are in. "You guys don't see what I'm like behind closed doors." Seems more Sideshow Bob than we thought.

We’ve hired an analyst, full-time. Why not appoint a media manager who has a recent communications background? A sports journalism degree, PR degree, comms degree. All would have had up to date training and earned a qualification in aspects such as media law, crisis comms, PR, match reports, Adobe platforms etc etc.

Yes it’s money, but it’s value in the long run. When social media is managed correctly it can make money.
Would you be able to provide some projections as to how the cost of a media manager would be offset through the revenue generated through social media?

I completely agree with the Board deciding not to allowing beer to be drank on the terraces, unfortunately we have a minority who can't handle their beer. Who would be left to deal with any issues from excessive drink....it would be the stewards on a few quid an hour or the volunteers. We also have lots of kids and families attending and yes we might lose a few quid but lets face it, it will be the rugby club benefiting.

If you think really hard Jason, really really hard, I’m sure you’ll be able to work this one out for yourself. It’s common knowledge and Google is littered with proven-examples.
