Back In Darlo 2015

Darlington Football Club are hoping to return to Darlington in the next 12 months and aim to start the 2015/16 season at Blackwell Meadows.
An agreement has been reached with Darlington Rugby Club to groundshare and now the hard work is underway to gain planning permission, FA consent and other related contracts signed sealed and, as stevie wonder would say, delivered.
Talking to The Northern Echo Tony Stowe, who is co-ordinating the groundshare move, said "We've made real progress towards the planning application which we expect to be submitted in November," he said.
"We have had talks with the FA and the Institute of Groundsmanship and they are quite happy with the quality of the pitch.
"There is a huge amount of work going on behind the scenes between the three parties - the rugby club, the football club and the council."
