Marske away in the Cup (if we beat Chester)

As above. A nasty looking tie if we win tomorrow.

Very definition of a banana skin. They easily beat South Shields at home on Saturday and would love a derby at home.

Would be a great occasion though.

Jack Lambert and Omar Sanyang

Anyone know anything about sanyang? Couldn't tell from the echo what position he plays, unless I just missed it. Think he’s predominantly a right winger. Certainly that’s where he mainly played for Bradford PA last year. However he can play elsewhere too. Has played on the left, and when we had him...

Away win at Brackley, reserves / fringe players win big in DCC, what can we whinge about now? Not a case of finding anything to whinge about. It’s just a bit strange we appear to have signed someone, played him in a match yet not told fans about it. I’d be interested to know why there is the...

Re: Durham County Cup

Allan Wilson, who volunteers as the match secretary, has said on Twitter and Facebook that Lambert is all signed up. My guess is there’ll be an announcement some time after training today (maybe in the morning) so they can release an interview with him too. But yeah, all a bit weird to start someone...

Re: Brackley away 14/9/21

Great result. Loved the commentary and constantly wondering if the broadcast or FlashScores will announce a goal first. It was a bit of both tonight. This result will send shockwaves through the non-league pyramid Simmer yourself down. It’s a good win for us but no one else is fussed about us beati...

Re: Blyth v Darlo

A step forward but someone needs to tell the squad we’re not playing off a two goal handicap.

Delighted for Nelson too. If he keeps developing his fitness, he could be brilliant for us.

JE93 has it spot on. Debut for Cooper and Beeden starts with Storey in a back three. Brandon Taylor ill and not in the matchday squad. Glad to see Charman starting, as I think Cassidy needs someone alongside him. All well and good Cassidy occupying defenders and winning headers, but he needs someone...

It's strange you're so abusive. You were very polite to me when I was accidentally sent your real name and email address - a few years back. I'm sure you remember. Or perhaps you don't? I’m no more or less abusive than you are. We’re both willing to indulge in personal attacks and insults when it s...

Ted, no one is buying it. Tie yourself up in knots all you like, but I’ve proven the point. And every time you claim to be close to disproving it, amazingly something goes wrong - there’s an issue with the Zoom, or Pete doesn’t show up. Always the same and just reinforces my point. I’m not getting w...

Re: New signings?

We’re in for Jake Cooper at Rotherham, according to the Echo. Sounds like its all but confirmed that we have a new player for Sat, maybe two (but I would be shocked if it was two). Alun knows he is under pressure and the vultures will be circling if we get beat (cue Darlogrumps) [emoji23][emoji23] ...

I can assure you there are no “tantrums” happening with me and secondly it’s interesting that just because you’ve decreed Lo to be a liar, he is one. You’ve bunged in a few legal sounding phrases and declared yourself a winner, congrats! However, that aside, I stand by what I said about feeling pol...

On his Facebook page, dated April 28, 2017, Ted Forster posted a picture of himself using a mobility scooter. You are Ted Forster and I claim my winnings! I’ll leave you all to chat rugby league and will say no more about it. Toodle-loo. Funnily enough, still no pm as you insisted you were going to...

I've sent a pm message to Ed about the Magic Weekend in Newcastle on Sunday. And I have replied. A shame you have not come back to me. For months we say we will meet up before magic so I can prove my point, then with less than a day to go, and after you so publicly say you have sent me a message, y...

Re: Sutton United

Absolute bullshit. You haven’t got me wound up, however I don’t like conversing with you as it makes me feel polluted, and if you think my minor misunderstanding with Lo was a “pretty nasty and aggressive attack” and “ childish and bullying” then you’re on a different planet. It’s there for anyone ...

Re: Raj singh Northern echo interview

It does irk me that Raj although putting £10k into the pitch fund wasn’t given more time to at least have laid his stall out. If I remember he pulled out as his wife said it wasn’t worth the abuse he was getting. Hartlepools gain or our near miss we all have different opinions on Raj. It irks me th...

I have answered "the points raised" M'lud, just look above - I've written it out in capital letters. That’s the point. Your responses do NOT answer the points raised. That’s what I’m trying to tell you, but you’re too arrogant to listen. This is really funny. In your world there seems to be a lot o...

Yep, there’s no chance our game will be BBC pick.

Something like Sporting Khalsa v Kidderminster is way more likely.

New signings?

Told ya the knives would be out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk To be honest, I’m not really seeing that, other than as I predicted, a few attention-seeking gobshites on social media. The feeling is very much one of frustration but AA has the patience of the majority of fans for now. If performa...

If you can point where AA has said any of his new signings aren’t good enough, I’d be very grateful. He’s said the defenders aren’t playing well (which is true) and has said Storey hasn’t stepped up (again, true). But I haven’t heard him say the players aren’t good enough. But that doesn’t fit your...

Re: New signings?

Only two games in and I'm getting tired of listening to Alun whinging, he signed these players, and yet he complains they are not good enough. We've had 7 months to sort a team out. I know Alun's teams usually get better later in the season, but given the start York have had (I had them as massive ...

Can’t disagree with any of that. Beeden’s pre-season displays don’t exactly give confidence he’s the man to solve our defensive problems. But….AA was really critical of our defence and is now relying on the same CB pairing. Indeed after promising changes, the only change is to bring in our full fit ...

Darlo v Bradford PA

A grand total of one change today.

George Smith in for Hedley. Storey stays in the side after being publicly called out by Armstrong. Taylor also at centre back.

By keeping faith with the side, if this goes wrong today AA will have handed his critics lots of ammunition.
