Re: Are some people actually blind !
I was sat in Block 13 yesterday, and constantly heard some old bloke shouting at Russell. Along the lines of "You need fucking dropping Russell".
I'd like to think he had gone a bit loopy due to his age, rather than him just being a thick c***.

How many of those people calling for the race to be scrapped actually bother to watch horse racing as a sport?

Re: What did Rooney say
I don't like hearing the arguement that children were in the crowd and they shouldn't have to hear words like that. I've heard much worse come out of the mouths of children in Stockton High Street.
He has apologised for it and that should have been the end of it.

Re: Signings for next season
No major changes are required. I'd look at bringing in a right-back, and possibly a new forward.
Other than that, we've got a squad that's more than capable of challenging for promotion next season.

The unbeaten run was never going to last forever was it? We've been playing some excellent Football lately, and one defeat doesn't spell disaster.

The Big Game
No, I'm not talking about the trip down South, I'm talking about the game tommorow night.
I'm as excited about going to Wembley as the rest of you, but let's not forget tommorow is the biggest game of our season so far and we shouldn't forget that.

The majority of countries simply award the captaincy to their most capped player, we are one of the few countries that make such a big deal out of it. Whether you agree with the punishment or not, Capello still stripped John Terry of the captaincy for twelve months, something which clearly hurt Terr...

No doubt his old man will have even more to grumble about now, as his lad got loads of stick from the Darlo masses, especially in the second half when he played right in front of us. It could have been because he was getting so much stick from us, that Bogie decided to bring him off. I doubt ...

Capello punished Terry for the Wayne Bridge incident, so he obviously didn't condone it. And secondly, why should he care if John Terry tries to make shady deals which have nothing to do with the England team? Capello will be judged on results and as such will pick the best players he can, of which ...

I'm not expert but couldn't the club open up a stall in the centre of town selling some gear? The amount of people that visit the town during the week for various reasons make this seem like a decent enough idea financially? You could even get volunteers to man the stalls so it wouldn't cost the clu...

Named new England captain? Thoughts? Personally I see this as a step forward for England, and the correct decision has been made, even if Fabio seemingly went about it the wrong way. JT is a natural leader and has an excellent record as captain. He will have learnt from his mistake and England will ...
