Rare you see 6th v 7th in a play off final so well done and hope yous win it, would be a derby game for gateshead
Actually 5th v 7th I think but I agree not the final you might have expected.

Season Tickets 2022/23

I might have missed something but I can’t recall any announcement regarding next season’s season tickets. Would expect to hear some news about tickets and prices in the very near future. Perhaps the club are waiting until BTB is completed. I would say now would not be the time to increase admission ...

Re: Retained list

Sorry to see Cassidy leave. I would definitely have retained him as at least cover for Hazel and as an emergency centre half. Who knows he might have been able to form a decent partnership with Hazel and have helped him to score goals. For me both Rivers and Mondal need to show more if they are goin...

Re: Christmas fixture

If The league uses the same fixture scenario as last season of playing the team closest to your location Blyth will play Spennymore and Darlo will play Scarborough. Or we will play York which is closer than Scarborough. On the other hand Scarborough’s nearest rivals are York so they may them or Yor...

Re: Goal of the season.

My favourite goal isn’t even on the shortlist. The goal of the season for me was Luke Charman at home to Spennymoor on New Years Day. He received the ball about 35 yards out on the right wing and turns and evades a challenge before driving the ball into the bottom left hand corner of the net from 25...

Re: Kidderminster V Darlington

Wonder whether Mark Beck will be kept on at Harrogate. He's been up and down there this season. He is obviously an upgrade on Cassidy. Would love to see AA go after Kaine Felix Not so sure that Beck is much of an upgrade on Cassidy. The only time that I have seen him recently, was at Blackwell Mead...

Re: Kidderminster V Darlington

For me Cassidy should be offered a contract for next season and I think he will be. Honestly, I would not be surprised if Rivers goes and quite likely ends up back at Blyth. Also listening to Armstrong’s post match interview I would expect Purver will be here next season.

I'm afraid to say I don’t think he is the answer to our centre half problems.
He looked way off the pace yesterday. He looked shot after about 10 minutes in.

Armstrong needs to look again.
Just checked the calendar because I thought it must be April 1st.

Really stoked with this signing, I thought we wouldn't get him and he would go to a bigger club. Things are looking really promising for next season. Hopefully BTB will give the club a further boost. Re: Jacob Hazel

Happy we have managed to get this deal done. Something like 34 goals in all competitions for Whitby, so even half of that in the NLN would make him an excellent signing. I would think we have afforded him due to the unexpected windfall from selling Hatfield. If so,well done to the club for reinvesti...

Latest manager to be sacked by Singh after just 6 months in charge. Didn’t see that coming, but Raj is not noted for his patience with managers when results are not great. I know what you're getting at Quakerlad. The match today was a bit of a non event for the Darlo players, or they gave that impression. Lambert played well but who else did? Yes we played a bit of nice stuff, looked more at ease on the ball and put through some classy passes but that was about it. T...

Scored 2 goals in the first half today for Rochdale at home to Bristol Rovers. Can’t recall him scoring since his transfer, so congratulations to him. Hope these are the first of many and he can bag us some more money in the future by scoring more goals and getting another move.

Got to get a striker in, Jacob Hazel would be the one I’d be going for all round striker pace power strength and knows where the goal is. It’s going to make life a bit tougher next season with 4 extra games to play. Will presumably be extra midweek games, most likely at the start of the season. Re: Lawlor signs 2 year deal

Hopefully with a proper pre-season Wheater can sort out whatever niggles he still has. My concern would be that if he continues to miss every other game (or whatever the current rate is), we won't develop any consistency at the back and that will hinder us no matter how the rest of the squad shapes...

Re: Darlington V Brackley

Given that we started the season with a shortage in the squad, AA tried to wait for players to come free, because of the budget and the expectation that a lot of players would become free agents from higher up the league (which I thought so too to be honest), and it didn't work out, so started slow...

Wonder what is happening with Tyrone O’Neill. Is he injured or just out of favour? Likely to be released by Scunthorpe I would think, but would we be looking to sign him for next season? Re: Darlington V Brackley

Can only assume that Cassidy was not fully fit, because we missed his physical presence today.Against a team that has only conceded 20 goals all season it was asking a lot of Thompson to play as a lone central striker. After we missed the two good chances early in the second half it felt like we had...
