Re: Finance Update

We do move on. To be honest just can’t wait to see some live football and have that to focus on. Hoping to get to Stream the game on Saturday. I guess it is not yet possible to have both a Virtual 50/50 draw and one for the fans who actually attend unless you actually have two draws? I wi...

Interesting that the Dover write up lists his clubs but omits Darlo (where he made most appearances).

Maybe like most of us he would prefer to forget his spell with Darlo?

Re: Darlington V Tadcaster Albion - preseason friendly

Actually, there's probably less than 10 Million haven't received at least one jab. If 4% of the adult population don't get it, which doesn't seem too unlikely, that's still over 3 million people. Is this an acceptable number to those most at risk, or would we still be wanting restrictions in place?...

Was that the longest "Trial" in our history? Never really got to see what he could offer on the pitch, but I guess AA had long enough to decide!

Start the season with AFC Telford at home. Brackley (A), Alfreton (H) and Curzon (A) after. Spendy away on Boxing Day with the home game on Jan 2nd. End the season away to Kidderminster. Also looks like they’ve ditched packing August with 7 or 8 matches. Just the four this time. Season is more back...

Re: National League AGM

Interesting things from the National League AGM this afternoon, clubs defied the advice of the board on voting to establish an ethics committee and a work group to focus on imposing budget caps for the 22/23 season. Initial conversations are that NL would be capped at 900k and NLN/NLS would be capp...

Read my previous post. Rather than go backwards lets try this from another angle, rather than "inherit" lets say he "adopted" a group of players when he took over at Blyth, some of whom later joined him when he took over at Darlo. These were a group of players who he knew and had worked with alread...

But he inherited a team from Tommy Wright didn't he? How many players from Tommy's last game were with us at the end of last season? So he has rebuilt once hadn't he? Yes, but a good chunk of the players he brought in when he took over from Tommy Wright followed him from Blyth which is the point I'...

I don't fully understand this. Surely the squad last season had AA's stamp on it because of the players he brought in over the previous 18 months?
