Re: Ben Liddle leaves
Wish Ben all the best going forward but, for me too inconsistent and no great loss, Given their recruitment so far, I'm sure SW & TM will bring in an adequate if not better replacement.

Re: Once the dust settles...
I also agree with much of the above, Regrading BTB and expectations, after listening to the SW interview after the match, I feel he would only intend stay if our intentions are to challenge for the play offs etc, for that reason I cant see DJ or anyone else coming out saying we cant compete budget w...

Re: Massive credit to Watson and the board
Get something on sat then we cant start making the statues, second bit is a joke of course but what a job both have done!
Jokes aside, get Sat out of the way then pray we can tie both Steve and Terry down for at least another year, 2 ideally.

Re: We’ve come along way.
He has been quiet because we have been winning, and he hasn’t been able to indulge himself in criticism of the club. Personally, I hope he we don’t hear anything else from him, if it means we are still doing well 😆 Exactly, well said, only interested in negativity, no sign of him after any of our r...

Re: We’ve come along way.
It really is incredibly impressive and while the board received a lot of criticism over some of the decisions they made over the last 15 months, they equally deserve some credit for getting the appointment of Watson & Mitchell spot on, as well as the decision to ask the owners for extra funding to ...

Re: Blyth V Darlington
Just watched the 3 interviews from last night, sat smiling as its fantastic to hear all the positive stuff after such a bad time, lot of hard work still to be done but the way we are playing and the sprit in the dressing room has me now feeling very optimistic. What a job Steve and Terry have done &...

1-0 up at HT, since we scored the goal blyth have been on top IMO, not created a lot but the main thing is we’re in front, big second half coming up.

Tin pot club that aren’t even our local rivals , bless em! Let’s not lose sight, winnable games coming up, let’s get behind the lads for the run in Sorry but by any definition they are local rivals, because they are in the same league as us and are 15 miles up the road. That makes them local and ri...

Re: Spennymoor V Darlington
Anyway, on to the match, I'll snap your hands off for a point here. As long as we can follow up by beating Blyth (who are shite) and Peterborough Sports. 7 points from 3 would set us up very nicely for Rushall away. Same, a point would be a decent outcome and set us up nicely for two winnable home ...

I initially thought this was spam or another troll from another club like Spen, but, I then read the name someone put up that has now been removed, if this is that person, he sounds like a disgruntled ex board member, surely he should approach the club with his concerns rather than stir things up o...

Watching on NTV this is outstanding so far!! What a job SW & TM are doing, don’t want to single 1 player out in such a top first half performance but, Matty Young’s handling is phenomenal, espec for his age

Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe
Tough match and I would probably take a point now, as mentioned further up the thread, I feel it is vital that if things don't go our way that the lads don't let their heads drop etc, a win would be an outstanding result but is certainly not expected.
