Re: Potential new signings

With his head in the right place, and fully fit, he would be THE best in the league.

Re: Welcome Jassem Sukar

Saw on Tin Shed that he had been released - appeared to be from someone who knows him. See Jake Cooper has been released by Rotherham - would expect he'll get a team higher up the pyramid.

Re: Retained list

I think Hedley looked better at Left Back than he did Right last season, so leave him there.

If going Full Time, any chance Glen Taylor will be looking to move on? Happily up my BTB contribution to go after him.

Maybe he is 19? Or he's been on more fishing trips than Paul and Bob.

Re: Signings

Said on the Hedley thread that i'd keep Cassidy and look for two more prolific, mobile lads to play off him. Certainly keep him over O'Neill, who I don't think has shown enough to suggest the same player is in there as was prior to his injury.

Re: New stadium funding

Rumours continue to gather apace that we will end up at Skerningham. If this is true, how do people feel about it as a new home? Disclaimer - I have no concrete evidence of the above, and reserve the right to be totally incorrect. This is internet forum speculation, based on discussions with individ...

Re: Leamington Saturday

No, give me falling over when accidentally breathed on, rolling around at every tackle, every foul resulting in wild appeals for a booking/sending off, bear hugs at every corner, any day. And surely an uneven, bone dry pitch is as dangerous as a muddy, wet pitch. I know which I preferred to play on.

Re: The penalty that wasn't

We said at half-time the ref was having a decent game. Not sure his 2nd half performance justified AA's criticism.

Re: Darlington v Boston 26/03/22

Saturday is an important game. Leamington appear to be very good at home, and it's no gimme we will beat them. However, the confidence, ability and work rate shown in the last few weeks should give us every chance.

Re: Darlington v Southport

We've got Moke, Purver, Rose, can recall Wheatley, could play Hedley there. I'd save the money for next season to be honest.

Re: Building for Season 2022/23

Is Rivers not top of assists this season, was top last season, and second only to Campbell the season before that? Really don't get the antipathy towards him.
