Jameson has been linked with the chimps, Stockport, Rochdale, Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

Re: NLN playoffs
Slight deviation from topic, but according to the Hartlepool Mail, Gateshead manager Mike Williamson is attracting interest from Hartlepool and Barrow. I think that would come as quite a blow to Gateshead if he moved on at this critical point. Given how fantastic a job he has done at Gateshead, los...

We did! Was in the days before social media really kicked in so people just accepted that people were allowed to make up for their mistakes and not have others constantly try and stop their rehabilitation.

Mitch Rose also has an ABH conviction from as early as 2021 for assaulting a man & woman (fracturing the woman’s cheekbone). I’m not convinced of the message which that would send if we signed him. Is there a point in someone’s life where they are allowed to do the job they are good at without some...

....Also, out of all the clubs in playoffs (on par with York) they don’t deserve to be in this league with theit ground and fan base. .... You get no points for size of fan base or ground. Re: Wheater
This is one reason why fans opinions on players count for very little. They spend too much time comparing them with players they see on the telly too much and forget what level we are at.
If we got rid of every player a fan thinks isn’t good enough we wouldn’t have much of a squad.

And who can forget "one of the most technically gifted players I have ever worked with" Alex 'Electric Pace' Henshall. I think Tommy said the same about Glover having a huge future in the game. Somewhere between him trying to convince us Johnny Burn was as good as the Josh Heaton we sold and him re...

Whether the club is the same club or not is a debatable matter. If the football share was transferred over to the new owners then the club would have continued in conference north. Normally when a club is bought the football share is transfered to new owners, if singh never transfered it then he wa...

Re: Signings
Wonder what is happening with Tyrone O’Neill. Is he injured or just out of favour? Likely to be released by Scunthorpe I would think, but would we be looking to sign him for next season? If he just needs some time to regain full fitness he could be worth taking a chance on, but the memory of Andrew...

Re: Signings
In regards to Cassidy, when he first came in people were saying he’s exactly what we have been missing for years, a decent target man who pulls defenders all over the place, just doesn’t have a good scoring record. Now since Charman left he’s being criticised for his lack of goals even though we all...

Re: Alfreton V Darlington
With respect, I’m going to disagree. “Guessed correctly” implies he had no idea where it was going and was fortunate enough to have gone the right way. It would suggest he didn’t know and made a lucky guess in diving to his left. What I’m saying is the keeper knew which way to dive because of the b...

Re: Alfreton V Darlington
Very easy for people to have a pop at the two who missed the penalties. Forgive me but I can’t see anyone on here who has had a pop at Mondal or Cassidy in this thread. although technically not missed as they hit the target and the keeper guess correctly both times Have watched both penalties on th...

Re: The penalty that wasn't
The trip (which was on his back foot) happened outside the box. The foul was entirely outside the box and he then fell (dived :D) over into the area. Where was his front foot though? If thats touching the line then its a penalty. I remember years ago at Shrewsbury Adam Reed was pulling a players sh...

Re: Leamington FC Away
Plenty of parking, which is good as it's miles from anywhere Is the ground nice, or is it your typical Northern Prem ground? Lots of little stands cobbled together with a decent terrace behind both goals. A nice little club and always good to visit despite being a trek and a half from anywhere.

Re: The penalty that wasn't
I thought the ref was ok, no worse than a lot we have had this season and hes certainly had worse games involving us. His decision making on the whole was correct although I thought he was harsh with the red card. I actually thought the challenge on Hedley in the first half was worse. With regard to...

Re: York v Darlington
Easy to try and make Wheater the scapegoat but AA will have been fully aware about his fitness. Clearly he played out necessity because Ellis and Storey weren’t fully fit (as evidenced by Ellis only playing six minutes and Storey not coming off the bench). Don’t think AA would have started him last...

Everyone is going to suffer. Especially those whose business relies on broker rates from utility companies to make their money, naming no names
All the major utility companies have pulled broker rates so now those who relied on them are having to find another source of income.

Having a read of the York City forum there’s several posters on there asking why they missed out on KDS as “He was head and shoulders their best player and caused us constant problems until he was subbed late on” All about opinions I guess. Agree never understand why Cassidy flicks the ball on when other forwards are out on the wings, might work with Tyrone but waste of time otherwise. First half we controlled game and had a few long range efforts. Second half the wheels came off, York changed the team and it worked, our distribution ...

Singh sounds more peed off with the council than anything else and who can blame him, been nowt spent on the stadium in yonks. Its still owned by council and is hardly too big for the clubs requirements, just wants modernising a bit. The council own the land, the upkeep of the buildings on it are t...
