Williamson is a big follower of the Japanese concept of Kaizen – or change for better – constantly seeking continuous improvement everyday.
If he pitches in with Singh and the Poolies he may also eventually be looking to follow the path to hara-kiri.

I reckon Williamson will be gone and he'll then take Langstaff with him.

Re: NLN playoffs
They've got themselves a good owner in the multi-millionaire businessman Allan Leighton who finances them to be consistently very competitive in this league. But they almost give the impression that the National League is a step too far after they reach the playoffs year after year. I'm sure the gro...

Where is the "less than 200 donors" figure from? That would equate to an average donation of around £700 each last year. I'm not saying it's wrong but I don't recall seeing that figure for the number of individual donors as opposed to the number of individual pledges which last year was over 700.

Re: Retained list
That would be a great signing for central midfield, something different to Moke, Rose. I think Lowe's based in Wigan and obviously he's been on a full-time deal at Shields. The player that the Shields fans seem most disappointed to see released is Danny Rose's brother Mitch. Sounds quite versatile i...

Re: Retained list
Cassidy a very strange one. Notwithstanding all the debate about his goal scoring record, the fact he played 39 games last season suggests he was one of the first names on the team sheet. Strange. Clearly AA has looked at the whole picture. That will include his lack of goals and whether that is li...

See Danny Ellis is the new Guiseley manager. Good opportunity for him. But it won't be an easy job trying to get out of that league.

Hopefully Singh will make a complete pig's ear of finding a replacement. When the new man is appointed that will be the 8th different person to occupy the hotseat since 2018.

Re: Jacob Hazel
Great to get a goalscorer sorted early and hopefully he can continue his record after stepping up to a higher level. Interesting that AA mentions in his interview about talks with Lowe. That would also be a key signing for me and go a long way in replacing Hatfield. Fingers crossed. The squad is com...

Re: BTB - It's back
It's probably a bit early to judge where it will end up. It's heading towards a third of the total after just a few days and there's always been a stampede on the run-in. Plenty more will be coming forward despite the hard times.
There were more than 700 investors last year.

Ruthless by Singh to sack Lee before the final game after they consolidated in the league, got to 4th round of the FA Cup and semi final of Papa Johns. Just 5 months as manager there. Also comes just days after a fundraising match there for the manager's wife's battle against a brain tumour. Great t...

I think it may be that a big, imposing, aggressive, box-to-box midfielder might also be required, preferrably one who also chips in with some goals.

Re: YOURCLUB Men's Player of the Season 2021/22
Ben Hedley for me. I narrowed it down to him and Tommy Taylor. Both consistent but Ben just edging it because of his vast improvement during his time with us and the fact that he has performed so well despite playing so much of the time not in his favoured position. He's improved hugely as a defende...

Re: BPA v Darlington
Holloway was right in his interview that it was a nailed on penalty when Rivers was clearly tripped in the box. The ref was very well placed but bafflingly waved play on. Even the Bradford fans near us thought it was a clear and obvious foul. It also didn't look a foul on the keeper when Cassidy's h...

If we were getting the Tyrone O'Neill who scored 7 goals in 17 appearances for us over 3 months in 2019 before Jonathan Woodgate recalled him in the November then it would be a no brainer. I seem to recall he had a lot going for him and was getting better and better. I think if we could have kept hi...

Re: Darlington V Brackley
Brackley concede so few goals that if you get a couple of chances against them you really have to take them. We didn't take them and paid the price. I wish they would just get on with it and get promoted. They are well resourced, very well organised and have been for years. In fact best outcome now ...

I heard people saying there were too many changes and we should not rotate. But a lot of this was forced on us. Re: Alfreton V Darlington
Most times a keeper will commit himself to dive full length to the right or left and that has happened on all of our missed penalties. I'm still very much of the opinion that if you just belt it with force down the middle, you'll score more times than not. Even if the keeper stands his ground (which...

The fictitious attendance figures released by Spennymoor have reached ridiculous and laughable proportions now. You'd be very lucky if there were 500 or 600 in the Brewery Field on Tuesday night and the "Official" crowd figure is given out as 1141. What's all that about? It's completely nuts. Must k...
